Ask Riot on "Auto-fill Trolls" got me angry...

Ask Riot: Where is Butcher's Bridge? - Nexus - League of Legends

Instead, we’re more likely to make a system that lets you give us feedback after you dodge on why you didn’t want to play that game. [...] Feedback like this could help us spot dodge trends, which could then lead to new features or solutions around those trends. Player Behavior has a few high-priority things on its plate at the moment, but this is definitely something we want to circle back on.

In the meantime, you’re still able to report players who are assigned a role but refuse to play it in-game, since the expectation is that players will at least try their best.

I really really hope that these other "high priority things" are really good. Because, "in the meantime", we are NOT able to report a player who is assigned a role and refused to play it when someone dodged the game entirely. And who would blame the dodgers? I mean, I should NOT have to play a terrible game to its end just so I can report an ass-hole. Even more, FOUR DIFFERENT PEOPLE should not have to suffer just to report ONE ass-hole.

Them condoning reporting someone who 'refuses to play an assigned role' is horrible. There was a time that Morg/Zyra/MF/Brand/Annie were all seen as 'troll supports' and if you picked them before they were finally 'allowed' in lane, you'd have people trolling, feeding on purpose, and ultimately throwing the game intentionally so they could prove that these people made a so-called troll pick.

People will take that to mean that if you don't select one of the list of champions officially designated as 'support', you will ofc have THOSE people to deal with who are the types who purposely let you die so they can yell at you and report you because you're playing a champion they don't like.

If someone wants to play LeBlanc support, or Darius support to counterpick the enemy bot lane, they should be able to, and not get yelled at by their team and ultimately reported and banned for not picking according to the meta.

After all the negative stuff around the singed smite support, you'd think they would have learned from that, but I guess not.

Generally, if someone talks about feeding in champion select, then doesn't feed in-game, they don't get reported for talking about feeding. Even if there were an avenue to report someone like that, how would you verify? How would you justify punishing someone who didn't break any rules?

I get it's frustrating to deal with. I have had to deal with people like that in the past. But for me, I just bite the bullet and play a different role. I'll report them after the (likely) loss and continue about my way. There's little use in dwelling on people who get away with stuff like that anyway.

the fact that there is no report system in champ select is mind boggling to me.
