When 2 of my teammates afk for no reason whatsoever, and there's no way to win a 3v5, why should I lose LP? Teams are theoretically even matched with the 5v5. Why should I pay for someone elses stupid decision to leave? This shit is aggravating to no end.
Look at my most recent game, I won't say who afk'd because that's against the rules. It's not possible to win in that situation in a 3v5.

Are you prepared to not gain LP if the enemy team had an AFK ?
If they left right before the Nexus exploded, and you didn't get your hard fought LP, how would you feel?
You can make suggestions to improve the system, you'd have to be able to be able to argue on both sides of the coin and prevent abuse.

Afk's hardly happen and they happen less and less as you rank up. Remember that afk's happen on both sides. And not to be mean but if it ended in 10 minutes you were most likelu going to lose even with 5
I'm an advocate for fair matches, I will always report people who leave or afk or intentionally feed. I hate it when I encounter it, and I hate the fact that other people have to deal with it. It's not ok.
