Nice Suspension?

Just got my first suspension after me and my duo got flamed by a homophobic and toxic player. Game started off I made some funny jokes to my MF and she lol'd. Then the Kled started flaming me and MF everytime we died saying "int?". Game escalated and he started calling me and my duo "%%%gs"and I repeated it in a defensive way. I believe I got suspended for that. Is this really fair to me?
