He was just unbanned, as he is now "reformed," but what about the rest of the players who got perma banned
Just because he is a streamer who gets the attention of Riot, he is allowed the ability to show how he is "reformed", but every one else can't
This just seems completely stupid to me, as he is given special privileges because he is known publicly

If not, then you are on the same footing as he is. None of his accounts are getting unbanned, those are gone forever.
What's happening is that he can now play the game without Riot hunting down his accounts and banning them.

To elaborate, tyler1's accounts are still banned. The thing that has changed that if Riot has identified an account as an account under the control of the streamer named tyler1... it will not be permanently banned immediately upon detection.

Well, actually a couple other people have. Off the top of my head, Jensen from Cloud9 was ID banned for DDOSing other players, but has of course since been unbanned

Timethief491 votesAfaik Jensen was only a competitive Ban preventing him from playing any tournaments in addition to his Accounts beeing banned. He wasnt banned on sight like tyler1
Gay 4 Varus UwU1 votesJensen had a ban on sight issue, it's just since no one was witchhunting for him, he was able to show easily that he could reform and stuff. Tyler1's case was harder because everyone was like "ITS TYLER LOOK HERE'S HIS ACCOUNT HE'S PLAYIMG LEAGUE DURING HIS BAN RIOT XDDD"
zAber332 votesIts completely different, the issue wasn't that he just had an account banned, he would have any account that he was seen streaming on banned on site. So completely banned from the game. He is now being allowed to play and stream again, but isn't being given his accounts back. Every other player has the ability to make a new account if you get yours banned.
He was only banned this way in the first place because he was known publicly... you don't see the average player having any account that they make being banned instantly.
