First of all, legal freedom of speech doesn't even apply to this. That solely applies to the government, to which it states they cannot prosecute you or try to punish you for speaking out against the government. (Outside of slander and libel which would be illegal as it falls under defamation.)

Second of all, social freedom of speech is just that. Freedom of speech. It's not "Freedom to be an Asshole". It is also not "Freedom from Consequences of Speech".

So before you start trying to scream at Riot that it's illegal for them to ban you and that you're going to sue them, please actually learn what you're talking about. Or, don't. Seeing trolls try to use this excuse is always a good laugh.

Freedom of Speech doesn't even apply anyway. Terms of Service basically say that by playing League of Legends, you agree that Riot can pretty much do whatever they want to your account because it's still THEIR game.

I have no issues if they say my speech is offensive. I just have yet to hear an explination other than "It just is" or "you're too dumb to understand" If I can understand why my speech is toxic to other people that actually makes sense, then I have no issues with adjusting.

Freedom of speech is not the freedom to verbally (or typing) attack someone with the intent of harming rhen in a mental, emotional, economical, or social (thier relationship with their peers and others) way.

The next time you think of doing something g like this, just remember your words could be the last straw of that person giving up on life or letting out thier frustration in a very violent way because video games are supposed to be and act as many peoples escape from the stresses of reality and if thier "relaxe" environment is now also hostile it can create a lot more mental and emotional stress to where they do something that everyone will come to regret

So here's a question for you to all think about

Who is to blaim? The person who killed a man or the people who drove him to it? The answer is BOTH

Nobody has said this in an eon, and anybody who isn't aware of the basic rules of League (all you need is common sense) already is extremely naive and threads like these won't help them.

Quit bringing up issues that don't exist just to get attention. A PSA isn't a service to a bunch of people who already know what you're trying to portray.

It's not the fact that they've chosen to censor their players. It that they've chosen to change their policy. They use to promote communication. You realize "refusing to communicate" option is no longer available? It's not that they've chosen to further enforce their censorship. It's that their new policy and decisions suggest communication as "bad." I don't understand people do not understand us. This minority of players aren't complaining that they got caught, its how and why they got caught.
