Change the report system

The report system should be changed. In setting there should be a choice of free talk, meaning cussing allowing anger to be used and duh so that people who know they are going to say something can and a mute button choice where those who don't want to be yelled at or play with salty players have those who chose free talk muted. Most people on this game are adults and can handle saying a swear. Like oh no he said shit. Better make a South Park episode about the importance of not swearing.

This way no one has to be reported and lose an account they have paid probably plenty for skins and all. And those who don't want to be bothered can have that choice.

Lol the amount of times ive been chat restricted or suspended for saying stuff related to their gameplay, meanwhile the guy and his duo que buddies are doing much worse flaming just because they cant land skillshots or do their role properly. Man what a great game and system.

Ironically you can disable all chat, but you cant disable team chat.....go figure. I mean riot doesnt give a fuck anyways. People get suspended, just means more money for them.

Lol just happened to me. I get muted because mid and jungle are buddies only helping each other while I'm being camped and their jungle is literally siting in my lane. Bot was being destroyed and I was jungle me do some shit and him and mid start flaming how we are feeding and how they have good kda and I'm like are you fucking kidding it's complete bullshit.

just because people don't swear doesn't mean they are they arent report worth. i went 17/7 the last game i played. did my team go good job? no they flamed me the whole game and i didn't even comment on the fact most of them where like 0/10. but riot doesn't care i was harassed for 30 minutes for getting kills, taking all the towers alone, getting the only dragon we had. no i was harassed and I reported them. Will any one of them be reported? no they wont. not a single fucking one we be in any kind of trouble. So if i want a system which allows me to swear and at people who accept the fact that their will be swearing i damn well deserve one. they will have a choice of having me automatically muted having my free speech mode on. I've been harassed so many games and because they don't swear while doing it, they get away with it.

Wow, feeling very entitled, aren't you? Why do things have to work out specifically just so you can be happy by being rude to other people? Does that not seem illogical? "I WANT THIS, SO GIVE ME IT" What are you, a toddler?

And sure, you can report them, but unless there's actual proof of them flaming you whether or not they swore, it's going to get nowhere. If there is actual proof, then they will get in trouble.

That wasn't a very entitled post, and it does happen, but not very often. You will have people being toxic towards you and you have to be all happyhappy, ignore it, smile, and be hyper friendly, or anything that's "passive aggressive" is reportable and punishable.

Don't exaggerate or use a hyperbole. Passive-aggressiveness is everywhere. Your post is passive-aggressive, and you would be reported and punished in game.

This is the truest post of the day. This community is a prime example of that episode you are taking about in the newest season of South Park.

Honestly just this week I had my main account permabanned for being toxic. I was toxic. I was a bit of a dick. I should have taken a break that day but I didn't and I let myself tilt.

Did I say anything racist, sexist or tell anyone to kill themselves? Not a chance. Did I tell some people to place wards and some other players to "stfu and play the game" yes I did. I was banned back around christmas, 14 days. I made a huge change since then. Literally didnt get reported up until this week. I was having a shitty week and shouldnt have played, I get it. Is that really a reason to take away the hundreds of hours, hundreds of dollars I spent supporting this video game? Where I live in Canada we are basically at rock bottom as far as the economy goes. The little money I get to spend on myself after bills, which is basically none (most the money was gift cards I got around christmas), I decided to put towards this game, to support this game instead of other games. Then because I swore a little bit you're going to take that away?

To be 100% honest this makes Riot and its employees involved in the banning process, worse human beings than myself. I play a frequent amount of league of legends, enough that going from christmas to now without swearing is very impressive. The change in my behaviour was incredible up until the one slip up, that I admit I messed up. Will they reconsider the ban or refund me a cent? Not a chance. Will they ignore me? 100%.

Riot needs to rethink their strategy here, because all its doing is preventing customers from giving them more money. It encourages people to troll or make new accounts, which drastically makes the experience for new players terrible.

They are essentially digging their own graves and they (and the majority of the community kissing their asss) pat themselves on the back while doing it. Its so backwards.

The honest truth is they report players for getting mad rather then the trolls and jackasses playing this game. Yes I am going to get mad. One time I got into solo queue and ended up playing with 4 people on a team who got bored and surrendered while we were winning, did they get banned for ruining my game? He'll fucking no. Riot just shits on people who they want.

TOS requires you to not be an asshole to everyone else. People accepted this- and accepted that they don't own their account. The simply own the ability to use Riot services. When you break these rules, you get the consequences. The consequences include revoking abilities to use Riot services.

Your missing the point. Riots system only works on those who swear. And that is it. Riot has not once banned a player for harassing me for 40 minutes straight without swearing. just because people don't swear doesn't mean they aren't harassing, flaming and just causing a terrible experience for everyone. the point of a new system is to allow those who want to swear to swear. Those who don't want it get to have those who do muted. its simple and less people get banned open accounts they have spent hundreds of dollars on. the number of games I've been harassed and nothing has been done is ridiculous and the time i lose it and yell at them i get muted? hell fucking no.

You're* They recognize terrible chat though. Swearing isn't the same as negativity. I've seen bans go out to those who didn't swear, and were just constantly berating and annoying. Also, treating fire with more fire will not solve anything. The fire extinguisher comes at the end of the match, and you are allowed to spray it on the fire (The report button being used on the fire). If you use it on nothing, then no one will get banned.
