Can a main account be banned for actions on a Smurf?

I was just in this game with a Lucian so toxic he'd make Singed get a hazmat suit. He told the enemy Karthus to go kill himself in-game, then told me to go kill myself in post-game chat when I called him out on it. He said he didn't care because he was on a Smurf, so that leads to my little post here; can a primary account be banned for actions taken on a Smurf? Because he made it plainly clear he didn't give a flying shit what happened to the smurf account, so I think some harsher discipline in order. This type of crap can NOT be okay, right?

It's really hard to get Riot to take that course of action, but it's possible. Going on about how you don't care about being banned because it's a smurf is a really good way to get Riot to look at your other associated accounts, though.

Well, that's exactly what this Lucian did. I mean holy hell, you should have seen this guy. Really hope Riot looks at the post-game chat, since I specifically mentioned it in my report.

Never fear, post-game and champ select chats are investigated automatically as well when a player is reported.

This might be a little sadistic, but I'd LOVE to see his reaction when he finds out he got his main account banned for being a total asshole on his Smurf.

If you really were the Lucian in this match, then boy oh boy thanks for making it easy.

I don't know where the hell you get off thinking it's okay to tell people to kill themselves, but get your head checked. That's not okay under any circumstances, and it's quite frankly disgusting.

Honestly, I don't really care if it was sarcasm or not. It wasn't funny. This guy is telling people to go kill themselves and thinks hiding behind a smurf makes him immune to the rules. That seriously pisses me off.

So, sorry if I don't find any humor in you pretending to be him.

How am I toxic for refusing to acknowledge humor that's in bad taste? I didn't say one offensive or provocative thing to you; the worst I might have done is indirectly insult your sense of humor.

You on the other hand came onto this thread concerning someone who told people to go kill themselves and thought they could get away with it because they were smurfing, and decided for no apparent reason or justification that instead of contributing to the discussion in any meaningful way, you'd make a bad joke by claiming to be that same Lucian.

And when I don't find that funny in the slightest and respond as such, I'm the one who's toxic?

...Please, explain the logic behind this.

you think tyler1 is an exception, he´s really not even novelty. have been people that went through this before him.

Nope not if you spoof your mac address, and play from a different ip address which is easy when you are me :3.

But in general yeah they could ban your main account however again if you are like me you know how to avoid that if you really wanted to do some trolling and griefing although I don't see the point of doing this in League OF Legends.

LOL I used to have fun griefing the admins of their own servers before not a thing they could do about it ^^ hardware banned us, eventually they just stood there and watched what we were doing and asked us why we were doing it lol.

Because they crossed us first and despite the service TOS, and GM's doing nothing we dealt with it, it took almost 5 years but now their community is gone thank god, because there is a huge difference between a company like Blizzard, vs Stand-Alone servers such as Mine Craft, ARK, or other social Games like IMVU, or Sand-Box titles for that matter generally when someone Griefs you, you have to Grief them back and deal with it sometimes it leads to things that breaks a games Terms OF Service and will get you banned, but if you know what you are doing you can get around that.

So to answer why its okay? In generally not okay to do this unless there is a reason for example just logging into a mine-craft gaming and destroying everything without a reason is bad, but doing it because that person was a jack-ass to you and you get your revenge is something that happens I guess you call it an eye for any eye?

Same thing in some other social games where users like 5 years ago part of a big community spending thousands of dollars every month decided to support some Real World illegal activity, the people who owned the servers wouldn't do anything so there were multiple raids and griefing over the years they finally closed shop and left the entire sand-box game and community, but they couldn't legally do anything because the black-mail was too strong... The problem was getting around the bans from the people who owned the servers, basically being rented out.

So yes there are some reasons why, a person should do these type of things, but in a game like Smite, League, DOTA 2, there really isn't a reason to be creating multiple accounts for the sole purpose of trolling because it serves no purpose or goal.
