just want to communicate (yes communicate, not spam) certain things like "I'm low on mana" and "back up your playing a bit to aggro" because I cant type very fast, and it would be a shame to use one, but then get banned immediately. is this bannable?

Weathered1 votesFrom reading past threads, things like chat macros (even when bound to QWER) are not bannable. I distinctly remember a thread a while ago in which a Riot said they personally use a macro like "LET IT GOOOOO" on their R when they play Janna.
However, it is not officially stated anywhere in Riot's ToS whether chat macros are against the rules, and if whatever macro program or method you use accidentally looks funny to the automated system, there is definitely a possibility it could punish you. Unlikely, but possible.

I can get the macros to work outside the game, but for some reason cant get it to work in the ingame client or in game. I read something about how direct x inputs polling might affect it, but I need a little elaboration.
