Riot, why do we still have all-chat when half of what's said is TOXIC WASTE?!

Serious, my last game, Yasuo and Aurelion Sol were spending more time shittalking than actually playing. It was disgraceful. A lot of MOBA games these days have just done away with all-chat completely, like HoTS and World of Tanks. Too much toxicity leading to stupid plays, death threats, etc. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if tomorrow I learned of a LoL-related killing.

Seriously, Riot, just turn off all-chat... FOREVER. "GG" isn't worth it.

It is off by default, players have to opt in to use or even see it. Turn it off and you don't even have to worry about it.

It's not all chat that's the problem it's the players that choose to use it to be toxic jerks to others. While all-chat can be toxic at times it can also be very pleasant at times as well also. If you don't want to use all-chat then that's fine, but I see no point to remove just because a select few loud and obnoxious players want to be loud and obnoxious in it.

What planet are you from DotA Allstars was notorious for shit talking and toxicity. MOBA games have been toxic asf from day 1 except back then you didn't have everyone spamming X9 REPORT TOXIC all game, and that shit is far more annoying than anything.

You are also overlooking all the positive interactions that happen in allchat to from people saying things like GLHF to WP to GG WP... I see people saying positive things in all chat more than I see toxic chat.

tbh 90% of my games, i enjoy myself in a nice talk with the enemys cause my teammates are the toxic aholes

HotS not having all chat was one of the things that made me decide it wasn't with my time. Might as well be playing against bots if there's no human interaction.
