Is Being Called Useless a Reportable Offense?

Just had an insanely aggravating and tilting game as Quinn, getting completely crushed by Teemo and Xin from the very start and just getting further tilted from there. No one says anything until the very end when our Nexus is about to fall.

Draven: Quinn is useless. Like for real.

This pushes me past my breaking point, and in post-game chat I call him out on it. He tells the enemy team to report me, since telling him to stfu is toxic. I get on the defensive and ask him how calling me useless isn't toxic. From that point he started getting very sarcastic and condescending, saying that I'm useless is a "fact" and therefore not toxic, or asked if he instead wanted me to have him say "ty quinn gj" and other things.

I blocked him, but the whole thing still has me extremely rattled and on the verge of flying into a rage. So is it truly okay to call a player useless if they have a horrible game?

EDIT: I suppose I should clarify for the trolls who call me sensitive and that I won't last in the real world that I wasn't "triggered". The entire match had got me tilting and that was just the final straw.

Calling someone useless is harassment, but flying off the handle and responding even worse is reportable as well so remember that. The only way to stop toxic behavior is to report it when it comes and to not feed it when it's directed towards you.

Unless someone is legitimately trolling, calling them useless is reportable. I wouldn't report someone just for saying it one time, but if they continue to harass throughout the game/end game it is reportable.

it depends on the context, like I might say Urgot is a useless champion. that doesnt mean the guy playing him is useless.

Yes. If anything hurts your feelings at all you can report it to Riot. They are like a baby care center. They will make sure the bad guys stop hurting you.

If they are consistently salty records you, they are probably a riven main and yes you can report. Also if they say you are a worthless brain dead scum fuck bastard pile of trash mental dickface who should be gunned down in the street like the degenerate you are (no offense) that's a definite report unless it's records an intentional feeder. Dontake the same mistake as dunkey and say that quote above. Honestly you should just do /muteall in chat and only use pings if you want to climb. I don't even look at the chat and rarely type because it's more efficient to ping. That's why I don't get reports. I only flame intentional feeders. The worst experience I had was in a dota match (i expect cringes) I had a flaming necrophos and the whole team said they would report him. He was our highest MMR and the hard carry. Once everyone said reported, he just started feeding. We even had someone trying to get him to leave. He kept asking what he could expect to gain from it. We had someone saying he was an asshole who bullies people. He said he has been bullied. I got so salty records him and typed a nasty coment to him. It was a unanimous vote on the report. I decided the feeding was worse since I can deal with salty players. The e sports community is a bit of an acquired taste so it doesn't effect me that much since I've been playing for a while.

You seem a lil sensitive.

Were you expecting a rational conversation from a guy who called you useless and you told to stfu? Dude wtf. Why do people interact in a serious way, expecting logical explanations and honest conversations from people calling you useless? Yes report him. The rest is pure stupidity and idk what you expected from the interaction. Next time just report and move on and don't expect rationality and logic from Internet strangers... helps with the not flying into a rage thing.

Yes.

Sure it is technically, but often times when a person is called useless in game, the person actually means their champion is useless in the current situation.

This doesn't sound like the case in your situation so I'd definitely call it reportable.

Anything that hurts your feelings is reportable. Riot wants this to be a safe place for you to be happy.

Calling someone useless is indeed reportable.

A toxic player thanking me for getting demoted would have brightened my day. Not that i go in trying to get anyone demoted because i want to win, but it couldn't happen to a nicer person.
