Griefing Syndra

Had a game as Kindred where the Syndra on my team griefed me the entire game, throwing jungle monsters over walls to reset them, following me wherever I went to ensure I couldn't farm. I told the enemy team what she was doing and begged them to report her. They said they were going to honor her instead. Needless to say I was useless that whole game without any farm or stacks, the enemy crushed us, and post-game everyone left almost immediately, making it easy to assume they didn't report this Syndra.

What should I do? Open up a ticket? I have the match saved in my replays.

This was also a ranked game, making it all the more sickening.

Did you report her in the post game lobby? If the answer is yes, then 8 more reports wouldn't have made a difference. If the answer is no, then it is your fault for not reporting.

You can submit a support ticket but they won't tell you if they punish her.

Reporting her after the game was the very first thing I did, detailing exactly what she did in the report form.

Don't open a ticket. You're playing with fire if you do. You begging the opposing team to report her constitutes harassment according to Riot, so it may bring down a punishment on your account, while being extremely unlikely that that Syndra would be hit with anything. Hopefully you reported her after the game, though.

Riot really needs to do a better job educating players that they consider calling for another player to be reported harassment.

But I have proof that she was intentionally griefing me and ensuring that I couldn't play. I begged her to stop the very first thing, she kept doing it and told the enemy team things like "gg no jg" and "report kindred for inting lol"

Well, the chat messages from Syndra may be another story. That sounds like something she would be punished for. I'm just not sure if the griefing you described is something Riot would punish for. Riot's actions on griefing and their written rules on griefing tend to disagree with each other.

I'm also not sure if you opening a ticket related to this could prompt action on your account by the support agent that reviews it once they see your rule breaking behavior. Riot may require a player to report you before they'll review that, but I'm not sure. I can tell you the Syndra will almost certainly be hit with something on the punishment ladder for those chat messages directed at you.

Are you saying what she did, doesn't constitutes as harassment? If so what does it constitute as and how can you report things like that?

It does count as harassment, the commenter was just saying that if he/she sends a support ticket and support looks at the game, then the kindred might get a punishment too for asking for a report (which counts as harassment, it’s punishable so people can’t get away with reporting an innocent person, getting the innocent person punished and the offenders get away with no punishments).

In this case, after a manual review, both of the players (both the victim and the offender) would be punished, but if the kindered does get punished then I hope that she gets a small one, like a 10 game chat restriction.

What Syndra did is harassment, OP just left the harassing chat messages out. What was in the OP constitutes griefing, but given how inconsistent Riot's logic is on griefing that is and isn't punished, I can't say whether that behavior would be punished.

In all seriousness, the only real thing you can do is Report them using the In-game client. While it is possible to open a ticket via Riot Support & give them evidence such as Screencaps or Video footage, Player Support will more than likely tell you to use the In-Client report function as opposed to opening a ticket.

It does suck that you had to deal with teammates like that, hopefully you have better luck in your next game. "Forward......Forward...." - Nautilus
