Some people who play this game are disgusting
You'd think that people are only incredibly rude to you in-game because of their anonymity behind their username.
You'd be wrong.
Just yesterday, I posted a thread of team recruitment because I was looking for some people to play with. The thread can be seen down below.
I received a friend request very quickly after I posted the thread, (mind you he didn't post on my thread, so you won't find him there,) to which we exchanged Skype contact info.
Of course, I naturally wanted to do well in my first game with him to impress my possible future duo, so I played my Viktor, as I have a pretty good win percentage as him. He played Aatrox jungle, which was a little odd, but as long as he was comfortable on it, I didn't care too much. Match description will be below.
Within the first 5 minutes of the game I was being called retarded, recipient of mental disabilities, trash, all the while of being accused of singlehandedly losing us the game, having subpar cs at 15 minutes for mid lane, (I had 144 CS at that point, which I don't think is too bad), for feeding my ass off, and further, more disturbing things that would probably be better left unsaid.
The worst part is? I can't report him.
So my message out there for you people: Don't voicechat with people that you don't know unless you're prepared to accept harsh feedback from someone else.
It's an entirely different thing for someone to be criticizing you over voice chat, because you've become numb to the text in the text chat.
Now, I won't name this guy, but there's nothing I can do about you guys looking at my match history to find him. I don't necessarily condone witch hunting him, but this guy really influenced my day yesterday, and I still feel almost abused by this guy, which isn't okay.
Be smart out there people. This game turns people into monsters, just be aware of that.

Sorry if I broke any rules making this thread, it definitely wasn't my intention: but the experiences I went through yesterday morning made me realize that this is some serious shit, and it should be recognized.
