An Honour System Overhaul Suggestion....and a Means of Promoting More Good Behaviour/Less Toxicity

Being a beta tester, I started realizing that I missed that occasional pat on the back from seeing the fact that someone had honoured me in a game. (And I just realized recently that I have been receiving them but not getting the notices.)

Now I remember seeing in a response that the Riot staff were re-examining how honours were done. So, could I make a brave suggestion: **Could a grade or level system for honours be put in place? **

That is, for grades, it could be based on honours per games played -- and no it does not have to be A, B, C, or D. It could be done similar to masteries - for example, a player showing good teamwork could be graded like: Selfish, Average, Cooperative, Leader, Martyr. Done this way, it could even include factors with the game: heals, protecting team-mates, etc.

Or if it was done by levels, then it could be a floating level system. This would be more of an averaging of honours by games played. Yes, it would be possible to get 5-6 levels of honours. Plus it could slip down a notch or two if you get reported. If done this way, then you could even get a badge or icon or skin for achieving a certain honour in a set season/year.

Regardless, players need to know that being positive is a benefit for them and the community at large. I have been noting that players are saying that toxicity is up (perhaps because of the new ranking system) - but a lack of clear honouring for good player characteristics and the one-time notice that you have earned a badge (if you ever do get it) does not appear to be working.
