Disconnected Question

First and foremost I would like to apologize to my team I feel terrible because I know my disconnection more then likely caused them to lose the match, so I am sorry about that.

My question, I haven't heard anything but last night close to the beginning of the game I lost power at my house so everything including my laptop and internet connection went down for about 20 minutes. I couldn't get back in the game, will this get me banned? And more importantly will my team mates suffer, if so is there anyone I can contact to tell them what happened and see if my team mates could just write the match off with no penalties?

I hope so but I was more concerned about my team mates and if there's anything I can do to help them from the negative effects of my connection issue. this is the first time I have been disconnected totally from a game. I'm fairly new to the game and from my understanding in ranked games players have a lot to lose from losses if they are trying to bump up in the rankings and I just hate that my issue may have hurt other players. Can I put in a tech report or something and explain and maybe the people on my team wouldn't have to suffer the negative effects of a loss?

Thanks for the responses guys, I'll just let this go, since there doesn't seem to be anything i can do about it. If you were playing with me when this happened again i'm sorry.

If you don't leave games constantly you are unlikely to be banned for it. Riot knows shit happens sometimes, and hopefully your teammates will too and not report you for it. Personally this sort of thing happens to me more often than i would like, and i haven't been banned for it. It sucks when it does, but if my experience is any indication you're probably fine.

You should be alright. Its when it happens constantly that riot would take action.
