Can we report people for their behavior in champ select?

I've literally just had to dodge a ranked match because some guy thought it was a good idea to ban a champ someone on our team wanted to use. Then they went back and forth like:

1st guy: why did you ban Yasuo 1st guy: I marked him as a pick Troll: and I don't like your face, so I banned him 1st guy: ok then :) 1st guy: np Me: wow 1st guy: I am gonna have fun doing this Other guy: he asked you a question Other guy: why are you toxic Troll: bcs I don't like your face 1st guy: don't worry 1st guy: I will take my revenge Troll: no you won't 1st guy: we will see Me: what is going on here Troll: no we won't Me: I really need to win this match 1st guy: I don't 1st guy: sorry Troll: too bad, you won't 1st guy: yuo Me: wow man.

This is the kind of nonsense that makes me think twice as to whether I should even play ranked sometimes. I know things happen and you can't control people's behavior, but there must be something that can be done. I had no choice but to sacrifice lp to dodge that mess and I feel like both those guys are outrageous and need to punished.

To be fair the troll started it. I would just report him.

Send a screenshot in a player support ticket, explain what happened. I've done it before, and I'll do it again, because you're right, this type of behavior isn't acceptable.

banning preferred picks is not punishable. negative attitude afterwards and the "1st guy" definitely.

as someone who has had their champ banned out from under me by teammates twice within 3 days ive taken to keeping a notebook with all my comfort picks written down cause someone didnt like zyra support. For me Zyra got me out of bronze a couple seasons ago shes comfortable for me especially because of her being a flex pick mid as well. i asked why and they said shes a terrible support and while i realize shes not the most popular choice as support im an agressive poke player as a support and she brings cc and poke damage. and with a ton of ad comps that i been seeing she brings the ap damage even in support where ap might be in short supply forcing mr from the enemy team. I really dont care what people's reasoning to banning a teammate's pick intent but i do think it makes it much for people who dont know each other to trust each other when they do that out of champ select and it does seem to hinder a team enviroment out of champ select which only leads to a poor mindset going into game.

The only current way Riot has said to report for champ select is to report in end game screen, it's as valid as a report in game. They have also said they know its flawed and being forced to spend 20 minutes up to an hour for a report in champ select (and most likely in game) isn't a good system, but its what we got right now
