Mini Rant
This is just a rant about the past two of my games, I essentially have no reason to post this here but I'm just extremely frustrated and need to vent so here it goes.
First game, I pick Katarina, which isn't surprising since I one trick her. Long story short, I lose lane to fizz and get stomped. Not a big deal, i had a bad game, it happens. It was a normal game, so it can't be anything to serious. Suddenly my Xayah starts mocking the fact that I have katarina in my name yet i'm doing bad (since just because I have katarina in my name it means i play perfectly 100% of the time). I instantly mute her, and then on top of that I get spam pinged by our support when I died, so I mute him too. Game ends and we lose, no surprise there, I mute them and move on.
Second game, I notice that our jungler from last game is on our team, and this time hes top lane. Hesitant to pick her due to my last performance, I pick katarina again. Then I have to lane vs leblanc, I end up doing decent in the beginning but end up getting smashed due to the help from her jungler. And again, I just say to myself whatever it isn't a big deal, I'm just playing to have fun. Then our top laner who was on my team last game says to me, "why is it that you feed in both of my games" "just ban the champion from yourself holy shit." This is coming from the Jayce who had 0 kill participation when the game finished. Game continues on, and our jungler starts spam pinging me with the MIA ping because I flashed when leblanc chained me. What the hell am I supposed to do?? I flashed and got away, if i didn't flash she would've proc'd the second part of her e, her passive, and then kill me. So i type, "why the ?, thats not going to help anything." Game ends, and we lose, again. Our top says "report katarina"
What the hell did I do that was report worthy? Nothing! I didn't harass anyone, I hardly talked at all minus asking a simple question. All I did was play poorly for two games. Honestly tell me that you've NEVER tilted for two games and played bad on your main. It happens. It was a normal game, not your promos for diamond, relax.
I'm just writing this to get my anger out because I know that these players aren't gonna get even remotely punished despite harassing me in game with stuff thats clearly reportable. I'm not someone who even talks in game, if people try to talk smack to me for whatever reason i just brush it off and ignore it, I don't feed into it despite them attacking me all game. It's just kind of frustrating because I deal with players like these on a regular basis, and I have never, EVER, gotten the notification that even a SINGLE one has been punished.
I'm just sick of people insulting me because I played bad on the champion that I love. My name doesn't say " I'm the Best Kat in the World " It says Facerollkatarina, because I love my champion, thats all. I just wish people would stop being so toxic and just play the game for a change.
Anyways this is the end of my rant, thanks to those who listened to what I have to say. I'd like to think of myself as an extremely sportsmanlike player but sometimes I just get extremely angry, but I refuse to take it out on the people in the game.
