Option to ENABLE chat restriction in settings

This would be a great way to help players learn to control themselves. By enabling chat restriction on themselves it restricts the amount of chatting they can do. This way if something goes awry and they feel a rage burst coming on and about to bring the Kamehameha of profantiy down on someone they are likely to have already used their time allotted chat submissions. Riot would still be able it issue involuntary restrictions should the self enabled restriction no be sufficient for the players toxicity, and which point I would recommend a dose of activated charcoal straight down the esophagus.

Thoughts?

If you don't have the self control to not talk shit, I don't want you playing the game with me. I say let the trash be banned.

You can "chat" restrict yourself by using MuteMe!

I had never thought of using a scaling chat restriction ~ but perhaps that would be a nice feature; pretty easy to add. I will work on it :)

I personally don't want to play with anyone who is so emotionally out there that they can't just shut up. That weird kid rage translates to gameplay as well.

Current system is good, if you can't shut up you get banned, simple.

While I don't necessarily disagree, if you can't control yourself when tensions get high, you should probably work on fixing it instead of just pressing a button and calling it good enough. And besides, I know most players would probably rather continue arguing instead of finding the moment of clarity necessary to even hit a self mute button.

All i know is starcraft never really had much of a system preventing people from talking shit. People had the common sense to just mute someone when they were being annoying.
