Should Premades be punished more?

I've noticed that often the most toxic people are the premades. What is more, is they gang up on one specific person, and decide they are going to do everything in their power to make that one person's game experience miserable. Even after you mute them, they rush in and blow their ult to steal farm from you, they bait you into going in then back off while spamming laugh. They are general poor quality people. I'm not saying all premades, I group with with friends regularly. But we are either respectful, or silent. At most we will criticise if Diana keeps diving 1v5 and we are across the map with a friendly and yes sarcastic "I don't think you can take them alone."

So no, it's not a dislike for premades. It's just when premades are toxic, they are TOXIC, and usually toxic together. And while you can mute them, they can still mess with your game experience, and will move on to doing it again for the very next group of people who don't know they have to mute these individuals yet.

Either I'm really lucky or a lot of players are very unlucky because I can't even remember the last time a premade group was any more toxic than the average random player. I think a lot of people have 1 bad experience and then make huge generalizations about premades because they already are upset with the change in the ranked system.

Agreed. I don't play solo anymore because I usually get stuck with groups of 3 or 4. Around half the time it's fine. The other half (especially if either they are having a hard time or you had a hard time), they're just crazy toxic. Yes, they do have an echo chamber...and I think it mostly has to do with they have a (fairly good) chance of not being punished for it. They can all report you if you are even somewhat negative (or even if you aren't), and reports against them (in my experience) don't tend to go anywhere.

Basically, they think they can get away with more since they're the majority. ...and they appear to be right.
