Real question for @riot Do strikes ever leave your account? (even within years)

Look I'll admit I messed up in the past, but lets say I don't do anything wrong for six years, and then i'm still playing, and then Idunno, something happens and I get reported, and it gets reviewed and decided I mess up, do old strikes always stay on the record? Does honor ever get taken into account?

the last time i was ragey, was like a week of it, and that was just me being a douche and not keeping my outside stuff outside of the game and instead just like... punching bagging my supports if my bronze ass didn't get carried (I'll admit, I'm a flawed dude, I acknowledged that I was wrong and I didn't pretend otherwise) but that's not what worries me Honestly I have Autism, So sometimes I say things I think people will find funny that they... don't, and instead are offended when I'm not trying to be offensive. It kinda sucks, but hey it's whatever, It's not like I'm the only socially awkward nerd on the internet, and it seems almost unavoidable, considering the fact that i've struggled with presentation of intent of speech for 27 years now, again this isn't a sob story, an appeal, it's just how it is, I tend to try to say something endearing sometimes and it comes out wrong. Something somewhat recent that comes to mind would be an actual offer to lane swap and then three people telling me how much of a jerk I was and I kinda just felt like I did something wrong but didn't understand it. That happens a lot to me. I can intend on complimenting a pretty dress and it'll come out like I'm saying the person's dress the day before looked bad.

So I'm wondering, Will my strikes go away? Should I just jump ship and get a new account? Go to HoTs? I honestly feel unwelcome in this community sometimes, which again makes sense if I'm just an offensive person. But I don't intend on it. and I try to avoid it.

It takes around 3 months of active playing to reduce the punishment tier by one level. It isn't a hard and fast number of days to get a drop, because how often you play and how many valid reports (even without additional punishments) are made against your account can change how long it takes.

If you do become better/ not toxic and reform you will lose your strikes, there was a post the other day about this as well

You need to play non toxic games in order to get it back in good standing time alone won't do anything, because you need to show reform.

the punishment ladder decays after a certain undisclosed amount of games, however, old punishments never truly "leave" your account. and they will continue to affect things like PBE eligibility, how many "bad games" you're allowed to have ect.
