We were completely outclassed and all lanes were dominated very soundly... ;~;

The Rioter Deme Lovato was very nice however! They said they would take it up with their team! I am very confident this error will be remedied very swiftly!

While they mentioned something about that ban label also being used for afking and griefing scenarios, as I neither afkd'd nor do I play in a griefing manner (you do not get from S4 to G4 in 1-2 weeks playing like a jerk!) I know that I completely have nothing to worry about! :)

Maybe. Smite can be used on enemies though when upgraded. Cleanse can't. item 3222 would be the item version.

I think cleanse works.

The 0/7 taric and the 1/5 Leblanc are fine, but you are clearly the intentional feeder with a final score of 1/5. Your team clearly lost because of you and you needed to be blamed.

Sarcasm aside. Those other trolls were probably grouped. They ganged up on you and reported you. Probably after harassing you enough to fish you into a verbal defense, and defending yourself is considered extremely toxic.

It seems like it was just a false positive. They do happen albeit being super rare.

Also grouped up reports dont do anymore than a single report.

Supposedly. But we have no real insight into their metrics. I'd imagine if its that easy to get a guy with no warning signs a 14 then they have a considerable number of false positives.

.007% of all penalties are mis assigned. Be it overly severe underly severe or just a mistake outright.

Systems bug out sometimes.

Hell look at java, 4/12 returns a value of 0.

.007% of penalties are overturned, sounds more like, since the only way you could measure that is through what is overturned, and since they'll generally tell you to pound sand unless you make a forum post with traction about it... I call open suspicion on this.

It is not .007% of them are over turned, but wrongfully assigned.

Some are less severe than deserved, some more.

And actually, forum posts arent what matters. If you go through the proper steps with support, and the punishment was legitimately a false positive, they will overturn it. The only time you need forum support is on controversial subjects like nunu and singed smite support.

because I assure you its bullshit. Riot likely dumps any "i was banned" support ticket with an auto-responder standard text. it is far more likely the only ones that get any serious review are the ones with forum traction.

The thread was basically barren (iirc less than 20 posts) before Tantram's response and up for not even two hours before the issue had been resolved already (minus the honor-part, apparently). This thread by any meaningful definition had absolutely no forum traction. It still has a pretty low amount of posts, especially for a red-tagged thread. Why was it solved?

Social media postings are always given preference. The most public space is the fastest addressed in any support situation. Because the most eyes can see it.

and honestly given how many banned posts do not get addressed, its highly likely this user was in the right place at the right time.

Well this is more like other people are having entire side conversations next to the OP post.

This wasn't one of those "Riot is so bad I hate them unban me Tantram please this is bull Riot staff is awful" that this section is riddled with. OP said they banned 14 days and showed that it said it was for feeding and shared the game in question that it referred, and had already spoken with Riot Support Deme Lovato who said they were looking into it with their team, and about an hour or two later there was a post from OP saying they had been unbanned. The issue was already resolved before Tantram made a comment, who only made a comment when OP asked about Honor restoration as a riot staffer like Tantram would know about it and was nice enough to share (though I will admit to the possibility that Tantram could of been looking into this without commenting, but who really knows).

It is fair to say that more comments are coming in because of the Riot Comment symbol, but also the number of comments, upvotes, and consistent bumping keeps this getting even more attention. It is called the "positive feedback" system, where the more attention is given the more attention received.

Behavior related punishments skip the chat restriction tiers of the punishment system, since the punishment is not for anything chat related. The first non-chat punishment they use is the 14 day ban, so if a behavior punishment is given, rightfully or wrongly, it goes straight to the punishment you got. Nothing out of the ordinary there, so don't worry yourself about the type of punishment given.

They will manually review your history, and if you did nothing wrong you'll have this resolved real quick. Glad to see someone who actually took their problems to a support ticket first instead of the Boards.

Personally , I never run into problems like this. There is usually some truth behind reports. If you don't play with fire, its very unlikely you will get burned.

Whats funny is that I was duoing with one friend, and ended up on the team with another friend who was also duoing! That was a really great and close game! Mega Sion vs Mega Cho'Gath XD Ah, it was fun! However there was only one game listed under the ban above and linked to the game match I linked! So I don't think thats the case, especially when I was playing with friends! An hour long game, those are so harsh!!

Pardon if this seems rather redundant (you're already safe in your assumption that the ban was issued under a false positive - it happens, and it sucks that it had to happen to you), but I feel a bit of a need to put a little defense forward on your behalf for the Sion game.

At first blush, the death count does look staggering, especially for a fully built tank - 26 deaths is rarely achievable under most circumstances.

But, we are also, in the same turn, talking about Sion, a tank who's noteworthy for being absolutely immobile in the middle of a fight, but can very, very easily get into one thanks to Unstoppable Onslaught. Between that and the fact that the match went on for an hour, it makes sense that the slow-moving centerpiece of your team would fall quite a lot in teamfights.

And, even still, you probably had a good few opportunities to achieve Glory in Death, so between your huge initiation potential, teamfight presence (your kill participation was far from terrible), and the likelihood that you still had an impact briefly post-mortem...

I don't even think that Sion match would come up as a false positive, personally.

Glad to see that you had fun with that match, it looked like one hell of a tug-of-war.

Also, hope to see that Sona match issue get sorted out. It looks like it could've been a false positive based on your siege-focused build and a rough match-up.

I had a match pretty recently duoing with my bf, where I decided to play Thresh, whom I dont play very much.

I ended up doing pretty bad early on, but no biggie, it happens and I'll get better, I'm just used to Sona. But then the enemy team just, never closed the game. They'd wipe us and then just twiddle their thumbs. Since I was really out only tank, every fight all I could do is throw myself in there and lock enemies down (especially Fiddlesticks) as long as I could before I fell. Zeke's on Varus, KV on Irelia, and just hold them as long as I could. Newly-buffed Mundo, Cho'Gath, and Fiddle ult meant I was never making it out of those fights, but as long as my team was able to clean up afterward, I'd take every one of those deaths.

I watched your game thanks to "Replay another summoner's game" function (Thank you Riot). I didn't see you int feeding more after Darius got the first solo kill on you.

Taric's warding placement was bad (for some reason he wasted 3 wards around your team's blue buff). He didn't ward much and got his team caught mid.
Kayn was a tryhard trying to kill Jhin when Alistar was still in lane and Kha was in the area. (Like all Kayn players, TRYHARD FOR LIFE).
Leblanc was probably playing a bought account because of the way she played.
As for trish, at least she kept up with Jhin in farm, other than that, she couldn't carried.

But other than that, have you consider using spellbook? Or is your playstyle: Free camps top? I'm curious, hmmmmmm.... [sona-playing]

Well that was just a really unlucky game for me! Usually i keep the wave leaning on my side throughout to set up the easy ganks but Darius reeeeaaaally controlled the wave that game! I was completely outclassed. [zombie-nunu-tears]
