Encountered another one. Yikes.
Tried this once. Guy was cussing at all of us and calling me the n word at champ selected. Submitted a ticket with screenshots. I was simply told that I should make sure to report them in client after the game. To bad I'd dodged. Lol.
And then you check on op.gg and you see that the guy is still playing :P.Don't be fooled.
yep people do not utilize the support tickets nearly enough. did you know they sometimes reverse bans or punishments too? i think a lot of players dont even know about them
This is why I wrote a post in general section about thanking riot or the ticket support team. They are very professional about it, and reading what they say really made me feel so much better after having a horrible game. Such amazing people really.

Well, my experience was totally different with the support. They usually just send back a bot like message (maybe they are bots as well)
And when i managed to get a real human support, he just talked BS and did nothing. A Janna adc, starting with boots going top, only trying to steal minions randomly flashing and ulting is not enough for them to hand out a punishment. Or maybe just like the IFS, the support only cares about flaming. (Expect 6 tear rundown mids)
This is proof that they reply to your tickets (usually with a copy/paste message). Not that they actually took action.
Definitely there are no excuses for offensive language and they deserve to be treated accordingly, however the fact that you play exhaust ignite every game in ranked troubles me, it's hard to convince me that you are trying to win when you pick exhaust ignite on Ashe, you already have no escapes and if you don't take flash that's pretty much inting, I urge you to reconsider the reason you are playing exhaust ignite on every single champion and role, when you say don't use the ticket system to report people playing "off meta trash" I thought you were playing a support champ that's not good atm, I would get nervous if someone on my team picked ignite exhaust ryze mid, I would immediately think you are intentional losing the game, people playing rank usually want to win, they want to test themselves and see improvement in their games, I think just as it's not fair he typed whatever he did in chat it's also not fair for you to not take seriously the games when the other 4 players might be struggling to win, it's just as disrespectful in that regard, if you don't feel the urge to win, to improve or be competitive there are better options, normals games allow you to test whatever you want to play since most people already use it that way, that's just my opinion and I tried to express it on the most respectful way I could but I definitely question your reasoning for picking up that weird setup on every champ.

Nonsense. I reported 3 players from one team who insulted me for a game, sent pictures to the Support Player, they told me, bravo, that you did not get back on the shot. I said "OK. In a few days I met the same players and they continued to offend and harass me even more. I sent 4 photos to Riot and they did not banned them. It's a matter of brutal abuse and harassment, but the photos will be saved because I'm ashamed that Riot did nothing to get better games. I have sent other pictures, players continue to play without a problem, this is my experience of regret.
One thing I've noticed is riot support is always classy. Like if you ever call them for anything they are always super respectful/helpful. Their customer service is fantastic.

Yeah nah, Riot support is bloody useless. Not to mention that drama involving banning Gosu's smurf account without any definitive proof or elaboration.
I dunno, the last time i wrote in about a player telling me to kill myself the support specialist told me to just suck it up and deal with it.
Okay so I blurred out the names of both the people I was reporting ad Riot employee who handled the ticket but here is some context.
I was in an ARAM game and got bugsplatted at the loading screen, i quickly restarted LOL and made it back into the match before first blood was given or even a turret was damaged. However, for a Yi, Malz and Pantheon who all three were premade, this was not fast enough and i was promptly told by all three all game that I should kill myself and my family should be viciously murdered. All game thay described very horrible things that they wanted done to me and my loved ones, and though i could have muted them I wanted to gather evidence as screenshots for the support ticket so I let them continue.
When they told me to kill myself and what not they were very smart with how they did it, often jumbling their words to hide it from the auto detect system.
An Example: "Hey garen, read the caps of this word only. asdfKasdfYasdfS" or another example from Malz: "Hey Garen pleasedousafavorandkillyourselfandyourfamilykthx." and it just went on all game.
Now I'm not an easy person to tilt and to my credit i didn;t say anything back to them all game but i was pretty shooken up because of just how abusive this premade was, i knew the auto detect system was not going to get them so i took screenies and reported it via ticket. The ticket handler, though nice, didn't seem to take my ticket seriously and told me to just leave it be and wait for the in-game system to get them.

After i made this ticket I checked every day the names of the people I reported to see if they were still playing and to no ones surprise, yes they were, every day in their match history thay had a new game played, so these players were never punished for what they did.
I learned a harsh and powerful lesson that day, told me directly by Riot. "As long as you can trick the Instant FeedBack System you can be as toxic as you want"
Sad but that is what I believe now.
And if it wasn't kys, but someone running it down, they would just reply, maybe he's bad...
I have been tracking the worst offenders in op.gg So far every player I thought are sure to get bans are still playing. Riot doesn't care because trolling and other bullshit is considered part of their game it seems.
PS: I play with mute all, so I don't report players who behave badly in chat, (coz im not aware of it). But I do report players who try to lose intentionally (real inting etc. and just running after own jungler to try and steal own side camps away from teammate and not playing in lane etc shit.).
I need to curbe my own swearing tbh.
I have never once had a negative experience with support. Thanks for sharing! I think some people have one bad experience and don't try again, which is unfortunate because it really is super helpful and useful.

What did they say?
sorta a 60/40 with that, cause i did try doing this since i got tired of using the in game report system since it doesn't help, i did get some one to help but after i reported several people for being racist asshole, toxic unsportsmanlike players, and on some occasion using scripts, i receive less notification of such individual being punished for such offensive action, i went and asked why i didn't retrieve notification of these people, they stated to me; "they are not allowed to disclose any sort of punishment being conducted towards reported individual", i laughed when they told me this even though their system has been notifying me of actions that had been implemented towards the reported individual.
Every time I have reported through the ticket I have had a great experience with the staff.
Someone held our lobby hostage with a yasuo support and said "If I don't get mid I'm inting".
We dodged. As you can't report in the pre-game lobby, I made a support ticket.
They told me, "you can't report someone for going off meta, and he didn't actually int since the game never started."
Like wtf. He said he would've, but he forced us to dodge -_-.

Riot will let you get away with a literal shitload of toxicity before they give your account the perma. If Riot is getting directly involved, they're likely going to give you a 2 week chat ban if its your first offense. If their report-o-bots have already tagged you as someone who frequently does this, and have already hit you with a bunch of lesser chat/game bans, they might give you a 14 day GAME ban instead of a chat ban. But they're only going to give you the perma if you are literally the worst of the worst...or if you do something like broadcast that level of toxicity on your stream like Dunkey did.
The support service always answers within a day, still I can't get if this is ironic or what. Pre-set, copy-pasted answers should be a proof of any sort for what? A proof would be a consequence after your report, that in my experience doesn't happen often.
