Permaban for toxic chat shouldn't be a thing. and here's why

the argument is, that if someone's toxic, they'll end up feeding or, "Spamming pings" anyway, im not gonna go into spamming pings because thats pretty pointless, but allot of people know the fine line between feeding and being toxic, no one would ever start feeding on their account because they know its a garentee'd ban, eventually. If you perma mute these players, It can just solve the problem then and there, They won't be tempted to type in chat, they won't be enticed by other players voices, it'll pretty much gut them from being toxic, Now if they start feeding and really ruining games, thats probably a time to ban them, because if they feed, well they know whats coming to them, if their toxic. just give them a permamute, It doesnt hurt, as bad as a perma ban and its just a better and less punishing way to go, Opinions from rito maybe?

Personally I'm fully for toxicity being a permaban offense. I don't want people who are willing to be toxic in my games. Sure everyone has a bad day, but most people know self control, and these people either don't have self control or simply do not care. In either case I'd rather not have them around, and Riot seems to agree.

Toxicity isn't about words, it's about thinking. Toxic people have difficulty showing other human beings respect simply for being human beings, and it's not likely something they will learn on their own. Some don't even fully recognize that the people they are playing with are actual, real people with thoughts and lives of their own. I know that sounds ridiculous, but it's unfortunately true. I'd love for someone to teach it to them, however until someone figures out how to do that the most realistic approach is to punish them until they stop doing the punishable action.

You know what they say, you can only beat your head against a brick wall so many times before you learn better or the wall wins.

Did we go over this already? Riot has decided that most players who don't change their toxic attitude and keep getting chat restrictions just transfer their toxicity to gameplay if they can't talk. It was proven to not help; the people that are getting banned now with the new system are the ones that had hundreds of chat restrictions before because the consequences were not harsh enough.

Permanently muting someone still allows them to play on that account. Permanently suspending them is the much more appropriate action to take.
