is "tower standing" (not afk) bannable?

many games i will conclude that the enemy team is so far ahead, that the only viable winning plan is to stand on my towers, let them take baron (because the enemy team is so far ahead that facechecking the baron bushes is a near 100% chance to die and make the enemy MORE AHEAD), and pray they mess up a tower dive with baron

so i do that. i literally stand on my tower the whole game. never leaving it, letting the cs/minions come to me. because i feel dying more is never good and just gives you a higher chance to lose

is this bannable?

many teammates beg to report me when i do this strategy. but no ban yet so i assume its not bannable
