Riot, Implement A One Day Ban

Hey Riot, i was just wondering instead of the 10 game chat bans why not implement a 1 day ban. From personal experience i don't believe there are inherently evil league players but sometimes players do have bad days, myself included. The main reason for all of that anger is normally just one game that tilts them into oblivion. Usually the best thing to do while tilting is completely stop playing for the day, even a normal can set you off. Would you ever consider a one day ban? It would force the player to take a break and give them time to collect themselves. Also i believe anyone would be upset since it is just one day and they probably wanted to take a break anyway but were to angry to stop. So instead of preventing people from talking to their teammates because lets be honest 1 sentence every four minutes isn't enough for ranked, let them take off the day.

Thoughts anyone?

This is relevant; do you happen to have a reform card?

We already have too many people STILL breaking the rules by continuing being toxic after a 14 days ban. What differences does a one day ban make?

And just so you know, Riot isn't always there to babysit your putty-mouth. You should have your own self-control over the words you type. Lose it, and you deserved the punishment well.

i actually completely agree with this, in place of 25 game chat bans instead of 10 though

first offense is only worth of 10 chat bans, really. more of a warning.

but getting banned for a day would scare a lot of people. personally, if i got banned for a day it would be a serious wake up call, and i would realize that, yeah, riot is watching, im being kind of a dick, feeding, flaming, going afk, whatever. and i would stop.

i would realize that after getting a ban, i was in trouble, and if i continued it i could get even worse punishments. you don't have the same feeling when you get a chat restriction.

back before the new punishment tier came out, i had over 300 chat restrictions. and i STILL didn't care. they weren't effective at all and they still aren't. i would use what little messages i had to tell my team how much i hated them.

i didn't bother to change my behavior at all until i recieved a 14 day ban, and it could have been prevented so easily if we had actual punishments before the bans. a chat restriction is nothing but an annoyance. same with low priority queue.

Yeah the one day bans were nice back before the massive SR update in late 2014? Or somewhere around there I afkd in too many games on my old account and got banned one day for it. That's a better punishment than this new weakass lower priority q
