Before you downvote this thread, i would apreciate if people would read if before.

There are alot of people that get banned. I like to think that most of them if not all of them actually deserve this. But, this is a competitive game, mistakes will happen. This is not an excuse for them, just an understanding. I don't agree with the permaban cases because it's not fair for them to not have a defense. Their part of the story, what actually happend in that game, what lead to their permaban. I strongly believe this should be taken into consideration.

As far as Riot says, they state that the comunity decide what is acceptable and what is not acceptable. People report , they use this function, but Riot and their system decides who to punish.

But, the comunity use this function. We decide who to report. But, when we are asked the following question: Are your reports justified? Some of them are, some are not. Would you report the guy that flamed but managed to win the game for you? Some will report, some will not. People use this function for all kind of reason and here is a fact. After a game where people put effort, can they really be the judge of other players? Are we not influenced by that particular game? And if we are influenced, can we really be an honest judge of someone else?

Now, Riot states that their system punishes the bad players. All good and nice. But the system it's based on reports that might not be "fair".

Some punishments are ok, but a permaban, even if it comes in 4 steps( warnings) it's too much. (Overkill) Why shouldn't the comunity be able to judge this cases? Should we, the players that actually played with them, decide if we want them in ower games or not?

Players that put alot on efforts into their accounts, shouldn't we hear them out before we take the final step? Are they not entitled to a defence? to their side of the story? Or should we blindly trust an automatic system, based on influenced reports?

I made this thread, because i put alot of time into my account. And if a "mistake" happends, i would like atleast a chance to be heard.

Thx for reading my concerns

I think that was the whole point of the Tribunal, was to judge if a person's judgement was justified or not. From what I've been told, the Tribunal was much more punishing than the new Automated system.

Personally, I like having permabans in play. I've been playing since late season 1, and this is by far the lowest levels of toxicity I've seen. In fact, most of my games are pretty positive.

That being said, I think there are room for improvements. For example, the fact that there is no compensation for having an AFK player, especially in Ranked really sucks. I think the 3 month to drop down 1 tier rule is a bit harsh. I would like to see it moved to about ~75 games.
