Passive aggressive players are the worst type of toxicity

At least with the other toxic players, you can report them and they'll probably be punished.

But passive aggressive players can't really be caught by the automated system. Here's what I mean by passive aggressive players. Passive aggressive players might be upset about something such as not getting their main role. Instead of flaming, they would purposely do things like not grouping, purposely not helping teammates, stealing jungle camps to spite a jungler who didn't gank for them, blitzcrank hook a full health assassin over to your 100 hp adc while he's trying to recall.

thats why this war on toxicity is so dumb. people notice they get banned for raging or blaming. so now they take out their anger in different ways that wont get them banned.

wouldnt you prefer the raging?

What one person considers trolling (Someone not grouping) is the other person thinking this is the best way to win the game (Splitting and taking objectives). But in the minds of most league players, they know what's best so they report people anyway which makes it hard to tell when someone is intentionally sabotaging the team or not. Griefing (Like intentionally trying to get your team killed or stealing camps) is reportable but difficult to prove so players only get punished when it is blatant or excessive.

That's why the new behavior system is so dumb. They didn't learn the first time people will just run it down mid if they have 1000 chat bans. The new system is the same thing basically, except now people just farm raptors during teamfights to throw instead of rant, which winds up being way more frustrating.

I'd rather have a muted rager coming to fight than a dude that's made a decision not to take it from some loser and throw.

That might just be how they play lol....

A lot of players have a solo carry mentality.

You are 100% right. They are adding a replay system next season. It allows you to download the replays on your computer. Hopefully we can use those replays and attach them to a riot support ticket with our reports to catch these clever sly players and then it would help solve the issue.

I can not agree with this more, worse yet are the people who are queing and in a pre-made. When one of them there's always that type of person unfortunately, begins low key flaming, trying to bait you, me or other players in flaming back more violently or being toxic. Currently the automated system can't pick that up somehow.. I recently received a honestly earned.. chat restriction due to losing some self control and getting baited by a 4 man premade into flaming and being toxic. Chat restriction now long gone as it being my first offense ever only 10 games which I played off that day or the day after, now I'm just looking at no rewards for idk how long, if someone could give me the time that lasts for (Ineligible to earn rewards due to previous restrictions) that would be great thank you. But back to the topic, many times I've been flamed by a pre-made and looking back at it now what they said and how I felt, isn't right whatsoever, we play games to relax, and have fun, an outlet to express ourselves (Toxicness included unfortunately) and I really looking back feel traumatized by some of those experiences. The things people have said, done and how they would all gang up, bait you into being toxic etc. Muting still doesn't help damage is done, and you it just messes you up man.. Riot I don't see how these players aren't banned yet there are so many of them, and its fairly blatant and obvious. A lot of work needs to be done because, this isn't right.

Hopefully the replay system will help fix this, as you will have visual proof of misconduct. This is considered unsportsmanlike and helping the enemy team.
