Wanting to surrender in a 4v5?

Our Yasuo dies 3 times to ahri in lane. OK. It happens I understand that. What i fail to understand is that when he goes afk afterwards and our jungle nunu doesn't try and hold his lane, why am I the villain for wanting to surrender in a 4v5 situation when we were already losing when it was 5v5.

The other team was better than us it was plain and simple. There was no comeback chance plus the opponents now had a free farming ahri plus a Nasus for late game.

And still, my nunu says "I don't like your attitude so no" surrender vote fails cause he and the zyra report start spiting me for wanting to surrender. I get mildly annoyed at this but wait for next surrender chance. Again they refuse. This time i tell the opponents to report yasuo for afk and then all of a sudden all i see in chat is "mad bro?" "angry much" "salty" "toxic!"

ALL I wanted to do was end the lost game early and try again but no the situation goes out of hand they insult me i insult them and I'm sure reports flew out after the game was over on both sides.

Surrendering is not a reportable offence. Wanting to surrender a 4v5 when the leaver was a feeder in lane is not being negative or salty its simply wanting to try one's luck again.

This was literally my least enjoyable game ever all because some stubborn jerk wanted to keep playing a lost game and reported me for wanting to try and have fun

I don't know why you got downvoted. I absolutely hate being held hostage in a 4 vs 5 game. I'm almost positive I've been banned for either afking or talking shit to people who wouldn't surrender in situations like that. Nothing like a 40 minute loss you knew you were going to lose when your mid laner never connected. The majority of this community is nothing more than ragebaiters. They'll see you aren't having fun, see the games lost, everyone can be at each others throats, and they wont....just....surrender. They'll hold you hostage and hope you say something to them so they can report you or that you afk. And the sad part is you have to just sit there silently and take it. Took me a few seasons and quite a few bans to get accustomed to that. It's still the thing I hate the most about this game. I had someone feed and rage quit in back to back games yesterday, early ragequits. neither team would surrender. The icing on the cake is you get absolutely nothing to compensate situations like that. So there's literally no incentive to keep playing other than not getting punished. Cant leave or else is the definition of being held hostage.

Correct. It's not reportable. When they fail, just keep playing. And if you get harrassed, just mute and report.

I feel sorry for you item 3070 But some 4v5s are winnable but yours probably was not.. and you should've reported them afterward and probably muted them if you wanted to though.

Here is a fun fact/update apparently my chat logs in this game got me 10 games of chat restriction but I can bet you the afk feeding yasuo got no punishment nor did the zyra blatantly refusing to surrender out of spite.
