Riot do something about leavers/afkers/disconnectors

This season there has been a massive influx of afkers and I don't know why but something has to be done. I have NINE losses in ranked within the last week or two because of someone who is afk from the first moment of the game. Why don't you have something in place like Dota2 to prevent such obvious bullshit? How are we 6 seasons in and there is nothing in place for this? Nine fucking losses man, I only have 35 games in ranked this season.
