What's the logic behind surrender voting?

So you have a vote so people can decide to surrender or not but for some reason it's set up so that if 3 people vote yes, and one person votes no...it's a no? What's the logic? Why should 3 people suffer so one person can play (Usually they just say no to troll though)? If you have three people who want to surrender, chances are they're not going to play even if forced to stay in game. So what's the point? Why is Riot's logic just so...bad?

If there's only 4 people in the game 3 people voting yes and 1 voting no will result in a surrender.

Surrender requires everyone but one person to vote yes for the surrender to actually happens. This allows for the game to not be held hostage by a single individual, but prevents it from giving it up when at least 40% of players don't want to.

Riot's logic isn't bad -- your information is just incorrect.

how many years did it take to get the 15 min vote, they wont be changing FF status anytime soon, and i doubt they'll even attempt to explain their logic to it here. There isn't any.

What does it need to change a constitution?

That's the logic.

And that's fine.

What I hate is when 3 of 5 say yes then it's like " oh sorry the vote isn't unanimous "....in real life 3 of 5 is unanimous...

same reason as having a minimum play time

I hear rumors that three people can vote yes, then one of them leaves, making it a 3-1 vote which passes instead of a 3-2 which doesn't pass. I don't think this is a good thing, but if you think simple majority is better then you could abuse it for awhile until Riot fixes it.

  1. Tilt your team after you die, by blocking some of the screen. (I hate you if you do this)

Save time to get into the next game faster. (I can understand this, still hate you.)

The logic is that I end up winning in about half the games I vote no to the surrender. People are way too quick to give up. There is a lot more to the game than "they have some fed people." You have to look at team comps, towers, rank, etc. If the enemy Draven and Blitzcrank start off 6/0 and my Lulu and Kog'Maw are 0/6, that doesn't automatically mean the enemy is going to win. My bottom lane will outscale the enemy bot lane as long as the Nexus is alive long enough. Until the nexus dies, I will not surrender that game thus I will never surrender that game. If the enemy has a 20/2 Katarina while the team score is 24/3, I will not surrender. All it takes is one good stun and half of the enemy team's gold goes down the toilet for 45 seconds.

This is different than if the enemy has a 20/2 Olaf. I will surrender that every time because he can survive being stunned and can't be stunned during his ult. I will surrender if the enemy Jinx and Janna starts off 6/0 because they actually scale into late game. I will surrender If the enemy has 3 dragons and gets an elder dragon. I will surrender if the enemy gets baron and we have 2 inhibitors down. I will never surrender because some child on me team doesn't like a little adversity and thinks the game is only fun when they are ahead.

The reason you ask? xD XD. Just posted a Ticket on why, when its minute 15 you dont Surrender when there are 4 yes votes and 0 no votes. Like its litterly 100% so why does it say your team wasnt unanimously? i Would understand it on a 4 to 1 vote but a 4 to 0`?

And the answer they gave me was, that it could be easily abused. HOW? Like if i could force someone to not vote at all? Garbage
