Why doesnt Draft mode warn teammates that they are going to ban an allies selected champion?

Or even disallow them to do so. I can't think of a good reason not to prevent your team from intentionally/unintentionally banning your champion

I know its mean and I am definitely not in the right, but when I see someone is about to pick Nasus into a team that will not be able to survive a 4v5, meaning we won't last long enough for him to get strong, i will ban Nasus. I will say "plz no Nasus" or something but they usually don't respond or tell me to screw off. If I see my teammate is going to pick Yasuo and i look at their OP.GG only to see they regularly feed or just plain do terrible on Yas, I will ban him.

Most of the time they flame me in all chat for the first 5 minutes, then they will move on and forget about it. They actually tend to pick better champions or champions they have good winrates with instead and do really well (i guess in an attempt to show me how good they are and that I was wrong for not believing in them or something). They also stop being mad at me after a bit because in game I am overly nice to them, unless they mute me lol.

Nasus is completely broken right now you shouldn't be team banning him.

This is pretty much my number #1 ban right now. If you don't play a ranged champ it's almost impossible to win this lane. You basically have to run Nasus over and kill him 2 -3 times or he just takes over the game.

I'm good at farming, not killing in lane so I just get rolled by Nasus players right now. He's ready go early game with the E spam and AP runes and mid game with the Q. There is a new Nasus meta that just sucks you don't max Q first anymore.

Yea i have been playing that Nasus and I don't ban him away from teammates anymore. I haven't for awhile now, since i learned of that build. A tip for dealing with it is to play some one who can clear fast and is tanky, just freeze the lane near your turret and force him to farm with his E. Get the Jungler to gank him or just keep denying him CS, it will slow down his mid game and almost completely shut down his late game.

Problem is I play Singed and before what you did is push the turret and have it down by 9 minutes then Nasus is gg.

You can't push the minion wave like that now because you will get hit with an E you can't dodge, it will proc Thunderlords and even with MR runes it will still do a ton of damage.

Singed vs Nasus all you can do is completely dominate the lane right now, and if your jungler gives you ganks guess what, Singed gets fed which isn't helpful, Nasus still has a strong midgame, and mid and bot are open for ganks all day.

Nasus forces you into MR itemization trapping as well as losing map control right now. If you aren't a Teemo or Vayne top god it's a super big problem right now.

what gives you the right to take his pick though? other than your guess that your team comp doesn't need it, to me that seems self righteous.

I want to win. Plain and simple, if I know that person will lose or we will lose because we have that champ, I will ban it. Like I said, I understand I am the bad guy here, but if you have a 30% winrate on Yasuo with a bad KDA, you should stop playing Yasuo. I am not going to let that on my team, I want my teammates to win so that we can win. If our team comp can not allow Nasus to farm all game, it would be a bad idea for that person to go Nasus. If they can't see how bad our team comp would be, then I will take it upon myself to correct it. I just want our team to win, people at my elo just don't seem to want to win.

Btw i don't really ban away Nasus anymore, he is super strong right now and if my team wants to pick him they are more than welcome to. Yasuo and other high skill champs like him I will still ban though.

Yah..I mean if you're 9th pick and you want to play Khazix , I'm still gonna prolly ban kha... But yeh maybe if you're 1st pick you shouldn't be able to ban that out? But anything past 1st pick..it's...arguable... I wouldn't want Riot limiting your options just to stop trolls from doing something trolly. They'll just find other ways to troll anyway.

Maybe they should add ban intent? lol That might look a little confusing though.

Because sometimes people's intent pick is flavor of the month and you're like 6th pick overall... they don't want to risk the other team picking that champ first, which actually happens commonly. But of course, some people are just assholes who ban intent picks to piss people off. Or like you said, unintentionally (didn't see it).
