@Mods, I really hope this person is lying. They flame my team all game and of course my team flames back, but they say they were bating toxicity with toxicity. They also claimed that for every person they got banned they got Riot points (being given the RP by mods). This has to be a lie right? Isn't this basically impersonating Riot employees which I believe is against the ToS and is bannable. If any mods see this, can you reply? During the game, he all chatted saying he was gonna int if cass fed and consistently called my teammates pussies for killing him.

As a general rule of thumb, if someone is claiming to have some sort of special privilege to circumvent the rules due to some official position they or friend/family claim to hold, they're likely lying.

Report such people as Riot doesn't take kindly to people behaving poorly while claiming to hold official power.

First of all, you'll want to remove the other player's screenname, as Naming & Shaming is against the Boards Universal Rules.

Second, they're lying. No one at Riot, nor any of their volunteer Moderators, would ever pay someone to flamebait people. Just report them post-game if you can but somehow haven't, or file a Support Ticket, and laugh to yourself knowing all their "payments" from flamebaiting people are going down the drain.

Yeah, that's not a thing.

We don't have any power to do that even if we wanted to (which we don't). There also aren't Riot moderators in-game, so there aren't any other mods he could be talking about.

Wow, that's part of cream's pyramid scam scheme, where he would induct players into a pyramid scheme of baiting player into bans. I'm kind of surprised that someone is still gullible enough to be following through with it even after rioters made a statement on the matter.

Trying to impersonate a Rioter, or trying to claim a non-existant authority, is actually listed in the ToS as bannable. And even if it was a Rioter trying to do this... well, several years ago, I remember one getting fired over abusing his position and falsely banning players he didn't like after games. Other Rioters also took a close look at the players he banned and I believe most, if not all, of them got their accounts restored.
