Waiting 15+ minutes for a match because people dont press okay is really frustrating and I think something needs to be done about it.
Also in addition to the penalties, please give more time for people to click accept.
That wouldn't work... The reason that feature is in there is so it can detect and stop people who aren't present at the keyboard from joining a Champion Select. I just don't think you should punish someone for being AFK before even the Champion Select. I'm also unsure if giving more time would make much difference.
I get your frustration but the feature just looks like it's currently working as it should - a last out, intentionally or not, for people to bail out of Champion Select.
Alright, I'm about to disagree with you and downvote your post, but first: OH MY FUCKING GOD, ARE THERE PEOPLE WHO MAKE ACCOUNTS JUST TO NOT ACCEPT THE FUCKING QUEUE CHECKS!?!??!?!?!!??!!?
So, disagree/downvote reason: The Queue Check happens before the game even starts. If I go get food and miss a queue, I don't want to hae to wait five minutes to queue up again. What if I went to check something?? What if someone called me?
I mean, there shouldn't be Queues long enough that I can take a fucking shower and come back to still being in queue (I've done it once before, a month ago. Never letting Riot forget that one. Ever.), but a punishment is a bit much for missing one or two pops.
The point of the dodge penalties is to disincentivize bailing out at Champion Select because you don't like the opposing team composition or because you team isn't exactly how you envisioned it. It's not to punish people for deciding they aren't up for a game after all or for stepping away from the keyboard for a moment.
Don't you get a 3min "penalty" for not accepting match?
