Google Ads for Elo Boosting?

I've noticed that google is starting to serve me ads that promote elo boosting services.

Now I realize that a lot of poor community sites will take whatever ad revenue they can get to keep the lights on so I expect to see these types of ads there but Google? I have slightly higher standards for them.

What is your feeling on this? I think its insane for a big company like that to advertise a service that can get your account suspended or stolen.

only reason you are getting those ads because you have been searching for it.

It's not illegal. Boosting is perfectly legal. "Moral" gamers consider it "immoral", but that's not Google's concern. It wants to make money. If boosting was the sort of thing that would make a general public outcry, then they'd probably reconsider.

When I visit an MMO forum and all the ads are for buying gil, I get the same feeling. It makes me sad that other people out there don't love the game as much as me. And my parents are like "you have a good job, why don't you just buy gil too?" They're good people. They just don't see a problem. And when I explain it to them, they understand for 20 minutes before everything video game related flies out of their heads...

And Google's not remotely responsible for if you get banned. You read the terms of service and know that it's against them.
