This probably isn't the only game you got punished for, as it usually gives you two or three chat logs as examples when you log in to the game, but quickly skimming through the chat log, these right here are enough to warrant a report, and possible punishment.

As for mass reports, doesn't matter. 1 report is the same as 9, 9 reports is the same as 1. All the reports do is flag the game for review. This is accomplished with a single report. So it really doesn't matter to the system how many people reported you.

Telling people to report others is counted as harassment. Most of what you said was also passive-aggressive.

Also to correct something in your title. It only takes one report to flag a game. Multiple reports mean nothing.

Riot just doesn't care. They think they are ridding the game of bullies, and instead, they're enabling all sorts of corruption to ensue. Bullies are all over the place, and they're smart enough to fool the system very often. This is because the system is very flawed.

The system works outside of context, so as long as the bully can get enough on his side to report you, you're done if you said anything at all!

Meanwhile, not enough people have enough balls to report the bully in large numbers, hence why they continue to play.

I know this because my friend is a jerk, and he never ever gets punished. He will surely draw some emotions out of those who aren't playing well, though. Still, he NEVER gets punished.

Meanwhile, these jerks will taunt and tease and demoralize and report you all the same, and it's THOSE targets, like me, who get punished.

say nothing, move on, that is what riot wants you to do. Your flaw was typing at all. Don't do it. GL HF is interpreted as 'Get lag have feeders' and is considered passive aggressive. I'd suggest unplugging your keyboard if you like to play this game. Riot denies that they ban for no reason but they do it all the time and then never respond to support tickets. LUL

I have lots of experience with this system, you can't stop it. Make a new account and play on it only when u are tilted. That way if it gets banned ur main is good to go.

Also I played a game with u and u int fed.

This is just one more example of players willing to lie to feel justification with what they've said thus far.

Yes, he should be. But again you focus too much on comparing yourself to others. That's not how it works. You get punished when you break the rules, not only when you are the worst one. What others do changes nothing about what you do.

Well, you threatened with reports and you insulted other players.

Your ban has nothing to do with "mass reports", that's not how the system works. All reports do is triggering an investigation of your behavior. One report does that, multiple reports do that. So if multiple people report you, nothing really changes, it still only triggers an investigation. And in this case they were right to report you, because you actually flamed.

This ban is not unfair and it was not caused by bullies ganging up on you...it was caused by your own behavior.

I have no doubt that your story about those guys being toxic is true, but this doesn't change anything about what you did.

What I did?!

What I did was read my teammate say "report so and so for intentionally feeding. he's so bad, 0-3." I read other teammates begin to agree with him. THAT's what I did.

I subsequently said in /all that my teammate is trying to convince everybody to report me.

Thresh turned into a troll really quick, where he was intentionally allowing me to die without his assistance, even if he was capable of contributing.

Thresh was insulting me a lot.

I am aware of that, you already made that very clear. You are focusing on the wrong person here. This is not about what Thresh did, this is about what YOU did. Thresh probably has his own chatlogs.

The fact that Thresh broke the rules doesn't give you the right to do the same. This is not how justice works, your wrongdoings are not compensated by the misbehavior of others.

I still don't understand what is bannable in what I said. All my comments were responses, so there is no context here in my text. Half of my text is asking them to stop flaming me and stop bullying me. How the hell is this reportable?!

I should never be punished for what I said and did in this game. all 10 players in this game need to be looked at and the punishment should be fair and distributed.

I propose that for ANY punishable offense, all 9 players in the same game get checked for punishable offenses as well. That way, reporters are subject to evaluation as well. THAT WOULD BE FAIR! Coding that would be super easy.

It's possible that other players also deserve a punishment (and they might even have gotten restrictions, you have no way to know that), however this has no influence on the judgement of your case. Just because others break the rules this doesn't change the fact that you did that too.

Coding that would be super easy.

Jep, but so is reporting them yourself. Letting the machine be plaintiff and judge at the same time is not a good idea.

reporters should be evaluated for reportable offenses every time they click the report button. Then, it would be fair.

I shouldn't have to be punished for the ONLY GAME I PLAYED TONIGHT! I know it was a bad game, T.T but for Christ's sake. Why did I have to endure what I endured, and then get punished from RIOT!?

Do you think you are the only one? You are not unique and neither was your ingame situation. ALL players get insulted sometimes. Hell, I am a jungler, i've got to deal with this shit every day. Feel free to check my history, you will find an intentionally feeding Nunu there (yesterday) and he flamed and blamed all game long. So don't think you are special, you are not the first player ever to be in frustrating situation or being flamed. I don't have to imagine how it feels to be "attacked by an individual", because I already know. We all do.

You want to work this as if it's law. Let's look at the outcome, not the technicalities of all this.

The outcome is bullies bait out the response in players performing poorly. They then demoralize and bait out any emotions they can. Then, they report him and he is almost certainly reportable if he complained AT ALL about the offending player.

How the hell is this a fair justice system?

There is no freedom of speech here. Just a right to silence, and a speaking offender won't be punished, probably.

Why do you think that? You can see at your own example that the system is very able to detect violations in chat. The other players are judged by the exact same system. Your assumption that they didn't get punished is completely random (unless you didn't report them).

The severity of your punishment is decided by the severity of the violation and by what punishments you already received before. In your case most likely the latter.

Riot's system would be WORKING if there weren't so many bullies around. Sadly, they're here, and they ruin the experience THEY RUIN IT!

Two weeks from today, when I get on, I pray to God I have good games, because if I become targeted for more ridicule, I pray to God your /mute works next time (it's broken on my LoL. It just doesn't work.)

Riot doesn't get that their community is truly messed up, and their justice system is just one wide net that captures the bullies and the bullied all in one wide net. It's a bad system that doesn't HAVE to be efficient, because they're super rich. They can ban the bad people with the good people, and it wouldn't make a world of difference with their level of consistent monthly revenue. I could be banned, and Riot would feel justified and fine and rich, and I would be 1 of many who are permabanned who do not deserve to be. I am easily triggered from bullies due to my childhood (I dispatched 2 of 'em with toughness).

Yep, and that's the problem you have to work on. It's your last chance. No one blames you for getting frustrated, we all get frustrated. Just don't process it by retaliating. It's not like someone is pointing a gun to your head and forces you to flame. It's your own decision and you can decide to stop doing that. If you decide one more time to flame, your account is gone. Do what you think is right, it's 100% your decision...and your responsibility. You are aware of the consequences of your decisions, you are responsible for what happens now. I'll git gud at Dark Souls 3 and come back in 2 weeks (or sooner, if one of you kind Red's would unban me, please!!!!). When I return, I suppose I'll have to learn to be a vacuum for teammate communication, because Riot's banhammer is too sensitive. I am unsure of how to react to bad conduct going forward, besides going mute (and I read that going silent all game is bannable as well, lol)

except that doesn't always work. Riot's system is flawed and is no longer instant.. I know because I just finished working off a 25 game chat restriction for a game I finally had enough about couple of trolls on my team, and the restriction came 6 games AFTER said game..

Hell, I've had people going against me call me the N word F gt and they get off scott free despite reports.. I've even talked with a person that works for riot in person about this and he even said that there's nothing that the system can do unless they continue the behavior.. So go ahead and get mad that one game out of 100 and throw your death threats.. cause riot won't do anything for one game.

Yeah this is pretty much true. I even had some cases intentional feeders getting away without being punished lol but then again we have to keep in mind that system is like this because people can have a 'bad day' and might flame due to frustration , doesn't mean they should be punished instantly. Hell , if the system started instant punishments I bet half of the league community would have been perma banned by now lol.

I think I had a 25 game chat restriction I finished recently, and HALF of those games consisted of half my chats telling my teammates to stop flaming me. It seems telling someone to stop flaming you helps you in no way in this system, but it hurts you in the social system. It makes you seem weak and a target for team bullying.

The only acceptable thing to do is go mute and pray they don't report you for intentional feed and refusal to communicate, I guess lol?

but, yes, this IS the onlyi chat log. the punishment system is bad.
