Is there another option other than the report button? I have recorded evidence.

Here's the deal. I was playing an ARAM game, I was tanking as amumu and I walked over a health spawn WITHOUT the green + symbol. It ended up spawning right under me witch then pissed of Twitch who was low on health, I explain that this was an accident.

Twitch then proceeds to take all the heals every time I was low on HP. There were 3 of them spawned at once and he took all 3 of them from me while he was at full health. He did this to me 2x.

I have NEVER personally seen this for myself, any time I have ever reported someone. I have the replay of the match which should include everything from from the chat (where he literally dared me to do this) to him grifing and taking heals he knew I needed. Yes we ended up winning, he carried hard but he wouldn't have done nearly as well without my Q-ult combos, not that I think it should matter. It was rude, uncalled for. And i'm sick of always clicking the report button and feeling like nothing gets done to correct attitudes like this. The guy was getting all snarky with me daring me to post it on the forums, confident that nothing would come of it.

Can we please prove him wrong? Like I said I got the proof in ROFL format ready to be uploaded to anyone willing to help.

If all he did was take heals, this situation will likely not be punishable. Nobody owns neutral camps or objectives on any map. This means nobody has any particular claim to minions, jungle camps, buffs, rift scuttlers, plants, or heal packs. While he may very well have been doing it to grief you, it is highly unlikely that can be proved beyond reasonable doubt. And even if it can, you didn't own the health packs so he really didn't break any rules by taking them.

That being said, if he was abusive in chat, that can certainly be punished, and if they see his chat they may be able to determine a rule violation and issue a ban. You should submit a support ticket as others suggest, but know they won't tell you the outcome.

What a shitty response. "I know he was griefing you but nothing can be done about it", Cut it out with that defeatist attitude.

I think you're misinterpreting my response. I said, multiple times, that it is very hard to prove griefing in this type of instance without more data (either other games or chat data from this game). Neither Riot nor their support agents will ever issue a punishment manually unless they are absolutely certain beyond any reasonable doubt that the player was violating the rules.

Given that nobody owns health packs, it is possible that Riot may not even consider this type of behavior griefing. It is similar to an ADC taking the gromp (or krugs) - the jungler can get mad at it, the jungler may think they "need" them, but it is not griefing for the ADC to take a jungle camp.

Then they need to gather more data and do the work, but giving up by saying "it is highly unlikely that can be proved beyond reasonable doubt" is just an unacceptable response to problems.

There is not much they can do to determine intent that doesn't involve the player communicating with Riot. And there is not a method of Riot to enter into the mind of players.

Ok we will forever be trolled and there's nothing we can do. Why even try.

Not like we can detect when players are taking resources away from their teammates who are in vicinity of those resources for no benefit whatsoever. We can't detect player proximity to in game objects. Impossible to tell at all. Would be cool if we could tell things like jungler proximity to lanes or such and apply it to proximity to resources like jungle camps or healing relics, but nope, can't do it. Just have to give up.

It's easy to detect the action.

It's hard to prove the why. Griefing is not an action - it is an intent. It is the same reason it is hard to prove borderline intentionally feeding - you must prove intent, not just an action.

It seems to me it should be relatively easy to tell that this player raged at the OP over a certain objective, and then proceeded to act against them every chance they got. Judging from the OP's story, they have the replay and the chat to prove it. This seems like something that should be handle-able.

Of course its hard, that's why they get paid to do it. If it were easy we would hire a hobo off the street to do it. Data science and statistics can be applied to this problem. I myself have detected much smaller signals in much larger datasets than this problem would present.

The perfect strategy for arams when someone takes your healthpack when you're low is to just run straight into the enemy. I have done this many times and can confirm it feels great.

Thanks for the response, i'm fairly confident that the chat logs and video should more than suffice evidence for the intent to grief. The point on ownership though is valid, and we did win still despite this so who knows. I could care less if I know rather or not he got punished, I expect the automated robot response. But I submitted a ticket hoping for the best.

Him taking heals even if he did not need them is not reportable. It would be like reporting Soraka for not healing you -- there's nothing that states that she has to.
