As bad as I was warned

I started playing LOL this year, and I loved it. There were issues at times with players be having badly, but nothing worse than the comments section on FB, and hey you win some and lose it's just normals, so you can still enjoy moral victories.

Then I started playing ranked. . . And wow all the bad things from the boards have been true!

There are way more skips over bans Pretty much every game there is some one who wants to tell you what champion to pick, what items to buy and everything else about how to play, and that is without fail the player who starts 0/4/0 and types into chat, "why am I stuck with this noob team? FF@20" I have only played a handful of games and almost all have ended in surrender, and involved some form of drama, that resulted in feeding/trolling/rage quit I can't imagine why in the world ranked play would be worse than normals, but it really really is. My question is if something about ranked play makes players crazy why even have it below Platinum?

I've learned the hard way to always group and play with premades.

You CANNOT trust ANYONR in solo q. Ever.

Always expect the fucking worst and you won't be shocked or disappointed.

I'm plat 5 and I'm in like 8th or 9th percentile. Do you really want to cut off ranked for 91% of the community? Just because you suck at the game doesn't mean you shouldn't get a chance to improve and compete against ppl who suck equally as bad

If I had a year, I couldn't explain all of the reason why this doesn't make any sense...

I did my placements and got Silver IV. I deeply dislike the stress that ranked puts on people, so after I got my emblem I stopped playing ranked.

But I know that you can't give up hope in ranked. I spanned so many nirmals before I played Ranked so my mmr let me get matched with Silvers and Golds, so I could avoid some of the trolls.

In my first game we had an Aatrox jungle and a Pantheon Top. Aatrox hard carried.

In another game my main Brand was banned, so I had to go with Lux. Despite my rustiness with her my team was understanding and we won.

Don't give up on people mate, because there are solo players like us who want to win and support their team.

People care a lot more about winning in ranked than normals so it's much easier for them to go on tilt if they feel like their team is hurting their chances at winning.

To be honest I'd be really frustrated if you were in my ranked game. Your builds are very sub optimal and your stats suffer because of it. I'm not trying to say that to be mean, I'm trying to help you out. There's a reason why you only have a 16% win rate in ranked and it isn't your team. Only way you'll get better is if you ignore what your team does bad and focus only on yourself.
