just a simple question

i fully admit that following topic does get me up the wall here and there and following didn't happen to me anytime recently (i.E last time was last thursday or so) but anyone else gets their nerves racked up and their inner toxicity awakened when someone Plays the really hardnerfed stuff like varus lethality with deathfires and then blames others for having his lane wrecked and went negative with a 1:4 KD ratio or worse? just curious about what some of you people would do, actually did and recommend to do in These scenarios

I fully understand and feel your pain. Recommendations? Stay positive and;

1.) Mute them so you don't need to listen to them flame. This will help keep you calm. I do it often. 2.) Be positive to the person. If you want to help them, use constructive criticism. Don't be negative yourself. Example of this: Hey Varus, there were some nurfs with your build so you could try ______________ next time to see if that is better. Last thing you want to do is fuel the fire and tell them how bad they are and anything negative. If you weren't going to lose the fight you will definitely lose it after putting them down.

I am in real life a very positive person. Glass is always half full if you know what I mean!

I have also been a coach and leader among different jobs I work/worked and have always built relationships and helped people through positive reinforcement. Part of the reason I have done this is because it works but also because I can put myself in their shoes and know what It feels like to be a "victim" of negativity.

No one wants to hear how bad they are, stupid they are etc

Excellent piece of advise. I know sometimes I don't necessarily read up on Patch notes and it sometimes comes back to bite me pretty hard because I was unaware of nerfs/buffs. The same applies to other players who honestly may be unaware as well, so being helpful rather than condescending is always beneficial. Sure they may either listen or respond negatively, but know that you did the best you could to help.

One more thing I'll add:

3): Understand you can't fix everything, and make the best of it. Varus feeding and building lethality? Just smile and roll with it, or the game will suck. Maybe help him by identifying the low-defense targets he'll do best against, and ask your tank to grab a damage item or two to give you a bit of a boost into armor-stacking enemies. Focus on setting up harass positions instead of fighting teamfights like you would with a Crit/AS Varus. In short, even if you think the game is lost, try to be a friendly, supportive teammate. You'll be surprised how many games you can turn around even with off builds or allies who are behind.
