If your post is about being punished/banned...

...then please provide the following pieces of information. These are mandatory guidelines but just suggestions to help out. Really, this information allows people who respond have a better context in which to comment. But more importantly, remember that the majority of us are just other players and have no real say on whether your punishment will be (or should be) over turned.

  1. What was your most recent punishment? Chat restriction (if so, what length)? Temporary ban?
  2. Do you have any logs that Riot sent with you?
  3. If so, can you post all the logs? Many times Riot sends more than one log. Posting just one may result in people asking for more.
  4. What is the goal of your post? Clarification on why you were punished? (This is probably all that board members can comment on.) Wanting to get a punishment revoked? (If the latter, please also email your case to [email protected])

Also, remember, your post is probably the first impression many board members have of you. If you're cursing, screaming, etc, then you're going to set a negative impression on readers. Specifically, people may be less inclined to believe you if you're hostile.

Thanks.

Wow, great post, looks like you'll really fit in here. Grats on that icon too.

I'd like to add to this list:

please post the amount of games total that you've played this season, and total number of chat logs riot has submitted to you. And if you received any notifications after games that you were reported.

Been a lot of 1000+ game accounts banned this season over a handful of games, and I think it's important the community sees that.

Do you have stats on this?
