Perm Banned with no prior suspension.

This is the email they sent me.

> Actions that have been performed on your account are in violation of the League of Legends Terms of Use. You can review these terms at http://www.leagueoflegends.com/legal/termsofuse > > Due to the severity of this violation, your League of Legends account has been banned until Thu Feb 22 22:22:22 UTC 2700 > > If you have any questions, contact our Player Support team at https://support.leagueoflegends.com/home > > Riot Games Player Support

The first like is a link to the summoner's code. The second link is a to their FAQ about suspensions, the first of them saying basically, "You're fucked, we won't lift this for any reason".

I had a 10 game chat ban before this about two days ago, played those games off no problem and then suddenly I get home and BAM, this. No additional information just "Fuck off, you're done. See ya. We'll be keeping the money you spent but you can't play the game any more."

I'm posting this only to let people know this happens. This was done completely automatically. Nobody looked at this case, I was never informed that it WOULD happen and I haven't been told what I'm guilty of, only that APPARENTLY, I'm guilty of SOMETHING and that I have been perm banned for it.

As the email suggested, you need to submit a ticket for more information. It always says that but people ignore it. Submit a Request (ticket) is at the top of the second link page.

You either trolled a lot... however, I only see one instance of in your match history. Then either your account was hacked or something else. Send a support ticket.

Keep in mind though, I am 100% certain you are withholding information from us.

That email's not an Instant Feedback ban, so it has nothing to do with toxicity. At least it shouldn't be.

When they stick one of those arbitrary far-away dates on it, it's a different sort of ban. Should ask Support what it's about.

The filters are for people who simply don't want to deal with words they find offensive. However, it's too easy to get around filters, since they rely on word lists, not context.

I grew up very conservative. When I was a kid, if I saw any cursing or foul language, I probably would have reported it. As an adult, I might not like cursing-- and prefer not to see it in my games-- but I look more at how it's used rather than if.

For example, calling someone out for feeding is unnecessary. Either they already know they are playing poorly and getting their face rubbed in it (which just makes them more frustrated) or they are trolling and think it's funny they've gotten you to a point they can take you down with them. Either way, you lose.

Swearing to add emphasis? Just digs the hole that much deeper.

No chat logs? Nothing at all?

Maybe rito thought you were scripting.

What you don't know and you are spouting off angrily, is that the date you got banned for isn't usually shown. The year is a 'code' though I can't seem to find the code in previous board posts. Once the ticket goes through, you'll know.

However, if you talk like that, it is possible you were 'hand banned'.

And if you said that to me in game? I'm not going to put up with it. I won't say anything, but I'll mute you. Then I'll report you. And then I'll wait a few minutes, jump into the next game, and forget you ever said anything to me.

Your QB example... again, he knows he's not playing well. He doesn't need you cursing him out over. Maybe it's his first start or a clutch game and he's trying too hard. Maybe the defense is using a different stratagy than your team saw in game films and doesn't have the experience to adjust. Just getting mad and saying "Get your head in the game"... not really helpful.

That is incredibly vague.

You don't even know if it was for behavior, cheating, or payment issues.

Hope you hear back, and update the thread if you do.

I got the same exact ban code. Do you think it might have something to do with our summoner icon? LOL

Wow you must have said some gnarly shit....

Same thing occurred to me today and I (just) got a similar email.

And to two people I know have had the same thing occur. Something fishy is going on.

I would submit a support ticket to get it cleared up. As another commenter said, bans like that aren't for toxicity, usually for things like account hacking (someone stole your account and they ban it to hold until things are cleared up) or bank charge errors (they didn't get paid for RP, hold it until the issue is worked out)

o Maui o5/11/2016, 12:16:20 AM1 votes

It probably wasn't chat-related. They usually don't give out year codes (in this case, 2700) for chat bans, those are for other issues

Ap Mid Burst5/11/2016, 12:30:15 AM1 votes

Just hope it's a payment issue. I heard rito doesn't unban for scripters/account sharing

Awkward Couch5/11/2016, 12:40:27 AM1 votes

Have you bought any RP recently?

Unward49, I think it's time for you to move on and just make a new account. If you want to level up your new account easily and swiftly, then visit my thread. http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/player-behavior-moderation/2oXvW00O-for-all-of-you-who-have-been-permabanned-just-make-a-new-account-already
