4 man reports me and i get suspended I'd like to know if this is warranted

Just to provide a little context if you're interesting. Annie - brand bot lane that lost. Shyvana that was executed at red And zoe, died 4 times to zed and then came top started taking minions and died to my laner after I leave when jg reveals. Zoe starts following me around taking camps/minions. Brand is flaming me. Me and soraka start talking about 4 mans that ruin games because none of them admit it's their friends fault. Zoe calls me an idiot but in broken english so i ask if they can speak english. He responds in french.

From my perspective theres a 4 man wasting my time and one of their friends is griefing me but I got a 2 week suspension for flaming.

I've never been suspended and I haven't even played since july.

You threw insults though, you can do a lot less than that to get suspended so consider yourself lucky that you wernt permd.

That's literally the same as having 1 person report you.

I've never been suspended and I haven't even played since july.

So I assume that by suspension, you mean ban. If you received chat-restrictions beforehand, then going down levels is based on games played. Not time.

first 2 sentences in game alrdy warrant a punishement if you do that on a frequent level.

as you said yourself, you had a punishement and didnt play many games after that so your account status was still "fresh of the punishement" and then all you did this game was flame. you ran right into their trap, baiting you to flame. now you got punished not only for the flame but also for the stupidity.

the 14 day ban is a last warning and hopefully a reminder to not fall for such obvious traps.

It's an escalating punishment system. 10 game chat restriction, 25 game chat restriction, 14 day ban, permanent ban.

Those are the only possible punishments. After you get a 25 game chat restriction, your next punishment is a 2 week ban. for the same level of toxicity that would warrant a 10 game chat restriction.

You can disagree with it, but Riot doesn't want toxic players in their game. Their ideology is 'stop being toxic in chat or stop playing our game'. After this 2 week ban, your next punishment is a permanent ban. People have gotten permanently banned as soon as the very first game after their 2 week ban.

Stop raging in chat, stop arguing in chat, stop insulting people in chat. Don't get reported. That's the only way to keep your account. Good luck. If you haven't spent any money on it, now's the time to just make a new one.

Yes, it is warranted.

The logs for punishments show only your messages because your ban is based on only your behavior.

-- Alright, so calling for reports can be seen as negative, but i don't generally report someone for asking for reports unless it's excessive. If the 'tribunal' were still active, I'd chalk this up to you just being frustrated.

-- Telling another player to leave the game is almost certainly negative. Even if they were causing a problem, the best thing to do would be not to type and just report them after the game.

In summary:

I read your notes on context as well. You're probably not a negative player by nature, but your behavior certainly worthy of report and a sanction. Depending on your previous sanctions/punishments it 'could' be a suspension or even perma.

If you've have no prior punishments and this jumped straight to a 14 day suspension I think that's a little harsh.

Yeah that all looks pretty reportable and rule breaking, I completely understand that your teammates were dogshit cancer, but what matters is whether or not you engaged them in arguing and flaming or not. report them after and the system will do whatever it does, if they get banned so be it, if they continue to troll then it's only a matter of time until the system does penalize them. But you, arguing and flaming in response to their arguing/flaming/trolling, is pretty much just as bad as whatever they are doing because all you are doing is contributing to more of the bullshit.

Context isn't relevant to the IFS when it comes to chat related offenses. You asked for reports and called someone on your team trash, which means any reports against you are valid. Nothing there should have suspended you for two weeks though, unless you were previously chat restricted.
