I had this zigg playing as support since velkoz took mid. Instead of going for usual support items, he went doran's ring. Then proceed to play like ap mid zigg with exhaust and futher more did not even ward once for his adc then proceed to feed and blaming me as jg and his adc. Another game with another damn troll in league.....can't even play well as support but loves to blame others for his mistakes....
This is why autofill won't work unless they're like, professional.
It sucks when you get people like that, but unless he's explicitly trying to go against his team's strategy in a majority of his games (see Support Singed here) or intentionally interfering with you or throwing the match, it's technically not against the rules or not likely to be considered a significant enough issue to punish; it's basically just a disagreement in strategy. Just try to work with it to win the game and don't let it tilt you, these things can often work out just fine because the enemy is not practiced against it.
You don't HAVE to buy a gold generating item, you don't HAVE to buy a sight stone. Those are just META items for a support.
If they aren't picking a "support" champ, then those items would never show up in recommended.
There are plenty of people that don't know how to ward, there are plenty of people that don't know gold gen items exist.
I'd just call that a bad support.
What ELO is this?
A friend of mine is Bronze 5 and has perhaps the worst normal matchmaking rating I've ever seen, and I spectate his games sometimes for fun. He's actually not terrible himself (just very inexperienced and lacking in meta knowledge), but I virtually never see the support on either side build sightstone or their supp item. It's baffling; I'm not even sure how they get gold.
