0 respect whoever spamming GGEZ
Whether in my team or opposing team. If you cannot show respect to others even losing or winning, do not expect others to respect you as well even you played the game very well.

Personally I don’t think GGEZ is good sportsmanship, yet the person saying it (especially on the winning side) is probably trying to get a reaction out of the opposing team.
Just don’t give them the satisfaction of a reaction.

Just want to remind everyone that I know someone who spammed GGEZ every game he won and eventually it got him a chat restriction. So PSA, it's reportable and punishable.
Lol why is this post getting downvoted?
Most of the time I see GGEZ is from the losing team saying it. They earn my respect by not taking themselves so seriously.

Respect should not be forced, and it should be the person's decision if they deem anyone worthy of their respect.

Hell i agree with this one, it's your decision to not give him respect. Bottom line -- respect is earned not giving
I won an Ezreal emote. I set it as the victory slot. Now all will see ez after I win. GG [sg-ezreal]
I usually just laugh, because there aren't that many games where it's actually warranted. If your team won in anything over 20 minutes, it wasn't "EZ", first of all. I just looked it up, and depending on ranked or unranked, surrenders included or not included, the average game time is 27-31 mins. That means not very many of you are winning in 12-19 mins time. I once had someone say GGEZ after a 41 minute game! I LMAO! I always say the same exact thing after every game, "GG GJ GGWP". IMO "EZ" just makes you kind of a dick. But at the same time it doesn't bother me. I'll say this for being a good sport and not trying to impose something of your will on someone else through a game that's supposed to be fun. Encouraging my lanemates and saying GG GJ GGWP, has already gotten me to blue honor this season, and I've gotten Honor 3 by Early June since it's inception. Try not being a douche, it's actually rewarding. And besides that, it's most likely that your declaration of EZ is simply not true LOL.
It's just something immature players do. Most of the time it's not even someone who did well.
According to Riot, I can report anything, which makes me feel bad and worthless. So when I read an EZ from the guys who are usually 3/11 ADC and yasuo players carried by their team, I report them
It's a competitive game, they're your enemy, and humans are animals. Expecting them to show you respect is just unrealistic.
I'm not the type of person to even write 'GG' in /all. But whenever someone is spamming "EZ" after they kill me i spam "GGEZ" about 30 times when we win.
I've only said GGEZ twice in the 5+ years of League I've played. Both times were against hyper toxic teams who belittled my allies and I, and to see it blow up in their face is sweeter than buttercream. But in other instances of saying GGEZ? Yikes.
I only say gg ez in urf or when I hard feed and my team carries me anyway, it's just not satisfying any other time
why would u ever say gg ez? why would u add the gg i just say ez or u were free or smth like that but i dont get it is there ppl that say good game and then ez? what kind of double personality is that LOL
I like to say gg ez just b4 the enemy takes the nexus but im also a troll so...
Me too thanks
Oh no i can't imagine how terrible it must feel to not be respected by some random guy/gal on the internet that i'll never see again. /s
People who say ggez on the other team aren't trying to get a "reaction" most of the time it is simply because that statement has become so common and unpunished that people think its ok to say.
Personally anyone who say's ggez in my mind is someone who clearly is bad for the community. I dont think however that people should have account bans/suspensions for saying ggez. Rather there should be an active warning based system that doesn't give you an indication of when this decays. So that those players who are actively saying ggez will receive chat bans once that system detects they have done it one too many times.
These type of people don't say this because they are good for the community. And subsequently having them with massive chat bans will drastically reduce their level of (at least) chat toxicity.
It's super BM and I hate when my own teammates do it. I report anyone that does.
They should do a thing similar to Overwatch where if you say ggez it just replaces it with something else, something nicer. It's pretty funny to see honestly.
