Instead of showing off cocky behavior, why not show some sportmenship?

Really hate those players who doesnt even show a good sportmenship when winning. They just love to brag and showing how good they are by calling names on losing team like: You guys sucks, uninstall noobs, easy game etc etc. I met this very cocky Corki after losing to him. He start calling names on my team and even swearing. Gosh....I hope he gets chat restriction or 14 days ban. Would love to see him coming back to forum then cry about it.

I had a game last night on Sona where the other teams ADC was flaming me and my ADC cuz we died once early trying a risky play, guy was like "welp easy bot lane you brozer players are so easy" I finished season 7 Diamond 1 32LP and spent 2 days in master, not to drag but I'm really proud of myself this season, made rank 1 Sona on Lolskill for NA region from being a hard stuck D5 on my old main

Anyways I like to be sportsmen like because I really enjoy this game and normally have a lot of fun, me and jhin ended up roflstomping their bot lane and they cried the whole time about their jungler ETC the guy even tried to 1v2 fed Sona and Jhin then said we were hackers omg I smiled so big and told my discord we all laughed it was a fun game

Rank doesn't matter please be civil in games it's a lot more fun friends :)

The fact that you made a post about this simply means it's working. If words throw you off during a game, chances are you lose focus and that's what the enemy wants. Suck it up, mute them if you want and carry on. No more baby shit in 2k18

If that person was really toxic , he can skip the chat restriction and get an instant 14 days ban ^.^

as a support main I cant tell you how many times the enemy adc thought they were nice because they killed me twice, land that boss ass tsuNami (PUN INTENDED) but then cry about how their team fed.

also I don't mind people taunting one another so long as

  1. ITS IN THEIR OWN TEAMS CHAT or
  2. its kept down to just regular banter, as in the enemy isn't tilting over it

but what I love the most about cocky people in league, is that theyre WAY more likely to misstep, because they think they can get away with it to show "skill" IN COMES THE AQUA PRISON

Because this is League of Legends, where people who have never played a sport in their lives go to talk about how superior they are. I say ban these shitlords, but Riot would rather ban people who get triggered by trolling.

Lmao, Riot doesn't give a flying fuck. That person would have to get like 4 reports a game for multiple consecutive games before that Tribunal kicks in. I've reported so many people for throwing all sorts of bannable shit in the chat, or straight-up afk'ing in base, going out to kill some minions to avoid Leaverbuster. Every time I check their op gg later that day or the next, they're still playing games.

I gave a Garen a compliment and he thought I was complaining.

Everyone thinks /s ends every statement that could be praise.

That's what happens in a postmodern world, irony and sarcasm; the only thing left of truth is insults and complaints.

Just some thoughts.

"would love to see him coming back to forum then cry about it" What makes you any better than him? He's either having fun and joking or he wants other people to feel emotionally upset. You wanting to see him coming back to forums and crying about it means you basically want the same thing.

It never made any sense to me at all why players act negatively after doing well. Honestly, they just ruined it. They could have been acknowledged for being a great player if their attitude was good. Like "oh wow, that player was real good and seems like a humble person." But instead they trash talk and ruin it. Then it's more like "they were just fed, weren't that great anyway and a crap attitude what a trash player."

What are you like 6? Get over it. Quit being a sally about it and grow some thick skin. League is known for a cancerous community don´t like it mute them c;

depends on how hard you are trying to win.

I mean sportsmanship is good after the game is over, but if you are telling your opponent 'nice play' or 'you are good' or anything like that during the game you are messing up. you are building their confidence and helping them to play better.

if you are really trying your hardest to win you shouldn't be building your opponent's confidence. you should be trying to tear it down. only say things that will take confidence away or tilt them. turn them against each other if possible.

Balkaran111/27/2017, 5:56:21 PM1 votes

I normally don't do this but some people do this to win. If its a close game and you pull a little ahead you try and tilt the enemies so they get angry and make mistakes. I've done this once it was a really close game I was rammus and warwick came for me I beat him in a 1 vs 1 so in chat i typed "WW ????." He came for me again while I was near a team mate we killed i typed "WW ???" he responded "stfu" the same thing happend again but I could tell he was tilted because he started swearing we ended up winning. I never reported even though what he said was reportable cause I would've felt bad as I made him tilted.

I think my favorite recent game was a 1v1 between me (support Nami) and a fed Yi under our turret. he stayed too long (helped by Tsunami and Aqua Prison) and I combo'd him to death. And it was mid-late game, so my Ardent Censer and Redemption just made things worse for him.

Yeah, he cursed me out over that. I admit: I just thought it was funny and told him he was too full of himself.

It's human nature, the winner gets the happiness and glory, and the loser gets the humiliation and the sadness. If you don't accept it, don't play PvP games, play against bots.

Sportsmanship doesn't keep viewers on live streams, this is why Riot has a history of encouraging taunting behavior, seems like their business model depends on mouth breathers continuing to subscribe to each other, or at least that's their perception. Sportsmanship just interferes with yoloswag.

Social media has created a ton of stupid assholes unfortunately. Main focus on the word stupid and the fact that much of it is anonymous if they choose to do so. The amount of stupid in this world was brought to the forefront thanks to it. The stupidity just bleeds into everything else, including League.

I like being the villain sometimes, so I'll act intentionally cocky - either I win and have my fun, or the enemies win and it feels super satisfying for them.
