People kept making a fool out of themselves by lying

Everyday I see forum of people complaining why they are being suspended for 14 days or permabanned. Yet some still wanna lie in the forum that they did nothing wrong till RIOT pull out their chat logs. Opps! If you made mistakes that is against the rules of the game, you own it. Don't try to weasel out by making false statements. Unless your account had been unauthorized access then that is a different case.

what's worse is when they troll in game, lie on the boards about it, then you have to summoner 11 with video evidence: https://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/player-behavior-moderation/MKBQUoKd-banned-for-intentionally-feeding?comment=0003

Like seriously its "I have done nothing wrong, I never flame and I didn't say anything bad." they don't post their logs. Everyone asks for them. They post their logs then its every curse word towards a player in the book and then some racial slurs and all kinds of other lovely things. Yeah. Did nothing wrong my ass.[slayer-jinx-unamused] It's like they think we are stupid. "B-But they flamed first and died alot so its their fault for making me act like this!" <----that's a favorite. Because all it does is prove that they are incapable of controlling and composing themselves. [zombie-brand-clap] Congrats ya done played yourself dummies.

Lots of those chat logs don't even look ban worthy. some do but those arent really contested. lots don't. Riot doesnt even have hard rules so they punish you when they feel like but many times you feel like people you report for saying alot worse dont get banned

"Instructions unclear, now I've made a post lying that my account was compromised." - toxic players.

It isn't though. This happened to me before and I had more proof than was even remotely necessary and I was told by a Riot twatwaffle that it did not matter who was on the account that it still created a toxic environment for the people in the game and that the ban will not be lifted.

This was after about a month coming off of a 14 day ban. I was reformed, I did not break any rules even slightly. Then when I logged on after going on vacation I had a perm ban from during that vacation when I didn't even have my computer on me.

Chat logs should not be used to ban people's accounts. Riot should enforce a stricter chat filter or outright remove the chat if they don't want people thinking they can say whatever they want.

The "rules" actually state Riot can ban your account without reason, and make no mention of the Summoner's code in that line of the agreement. So don't be so quick to be happy that people are getting their money stolen for hurting someone's feelings.

Maybe people don't realize that they have done something wrong. I have never played a game with rules nearly as strict as Riots, so when I was banned for calling someone "bad", I didn't think I had done anything wrong. Its unrealistic to expect everyone to know the rules, especially when Riot is not clear with them.

I just received a 14 day ban and I accept the punishment (because I have no choice). I was super toxic, but I got in touch with a riot employee to ask why my first offense was 14 days and not simply a chat restriction. He explained that this was because I used one homophobic slur at the beginning of the game after getting invaded, not because of all the hurtful things I said that actually got me reported. The people that reported me simply got lucky that I used "%%%" early in the game. I don't agree with that logic, permanently mute me but don't ever ban someone for speaking harshly. Maybe I don't understand something but I would love to hear thoughts. I get banned for one word, but inters and afks go virtually unpunished (except for the joke of leaver buster: 20 min before 5 games)
