I received a 2 week ban after being honor lvl 3 for saying 2 things (bad things) which I understand. but today I'm playing with a guy who is dropping kys at everyone were playing with 5 min into game, griefing (sitting under tower watching his adc die) and saying he doesn't wanna help, and he received nothing. So how does he slip through the cracks after about 30 min of a shit show and I said 2 things and received 2 week ban immediately.
Are you assuming that they weren't punished because you didn't get a notification? Notifications are notoriously inconsistent, so you'll rarely actually see them.
Takes time for the system to process all the reports.
Sometimes it could take a few games to get banned. As long as you reported him, he will get his just deserts
part of it is language used. odds are if you got an instant 14-day ban you used some unacceptable vocabulary and people took notice. also sometimes those people get lucky and either get people that don't care or have the same idea of "words are words they can say whatever"
