Rot Games doesn't punish rule breakers, Instead they punish those who fight back

This is a huge problem. I've read around threads and I see a pattern. People who are a victim of harassment have a bigger chance of getting punished than the toxic player himself. Someone posted a thread similar to this and a moderator, get this, DISABLED the voting because people were agreeing with him! Riot LIKES toxicity, and we can't do anything about it.

Rot(sic) Games doesn't punish rule breakers, Instead they punish those who fight back

Surely, you have something more substantive to back up this claim than counterflaming cases on the boards?

I've read around threads and I see a pattern. People who are a victim of harassment have a bigger chance of getting punished than the toxic player himself.

First of all, it's not that either player has any greater odds of getting punished. Second; if a player resorts to flaming as a means of "fighting back" or "defending themselves", they are no longer a victim.

You're seeing a pattern of players saying that they "talked back" or "defended themselves", etc., but you don't seem to care about the actual content of their chat logs. They break the rules themselves, flaming and harassing players as though, because someone else started it, the rules no longer apply.

And how do you know whether or not the other toxic player got punished? Are you going solely off of the unreliable claims of the OP? Where they argue "how come I got punished but they didn't"? Or do you have some external method to verify their claims?

There's been some player(s) going around over the past week using a dozen-some alt accounts to manipulate votes, typically spam-upvoting threads that argue against Riot and on rare occasions doing the inverse on posts/comments agreeing with Riot.

Threads typically don't jump from sub-10 to 20-60~ votes of a kind quickly. Bear that in mind before you argue that it was vote-locked just because people were agreeing with the OP.

Omg "fight back"... this is a fucking video game. If youre in game "fighting back" and being victimized, youre fucking doing it wrong. I dont get it when people engage in verbal arguements in the middle of a match. Stfu and play. If you feel like a little victim, mute and report.

If you are being toxic back you are equally as bad. Don't fight fire with fire.

If someone stole something from you would you go and steal something from them? No? Bcs it’s against the law?

(Mods arent Riot)
