I'd rather it be "refusing to cooperate with team", it'd still catch those who refuse to acknowledge teammates.

refusing to communicate never punished anyone and was a report bait.

Thats why they removed it.

Players who don't play as a team frustrate me far more than those who are unfriendly. At least I can mute the unfriendly ones.

IMO, it should be reportable. League is a team game. Be a team player or get out.

Well if they refuse to help the team that's not necessarily refusing to communicate. If their lack of communication makes you think they're helping the other team more than yours, go ahead n report em for griefing. You'll probably just lose report weight though because it's hard to say they're helping the other team. Last night I had a nasus who kept going in and we wouldn't go in with him cuz his engages were at terrible times and way ahead of the group.

So he decided he's just gonna stay top literally the entire rest of the game. I recognized that and tried to play around it while the rest of the team bitched at him for it. We still won because we just basically played it to our advantage. They go for nasus, we push mid, they come back, we get back.

Try to just play around people like that. Don't trust them to help you or rely on them for anything. Try to think of the best way to make that deadweight a little lighter. It's no solution, but maybe you can still win occasionally when dealing with people like that. It was lucky for us that it was a nasus and not a champ that would just die immediately and do no tower damage so I know it doesnt always work.

Nasus sounds alright, tbh. As long as his intent is clearly signaled so I know to play around it, that's fine. It's when people don't clearly signal their intent (via play or pings or chat) and I can't rely on them, that I"m most frustrated.

The classic "You saw the whole team not follow, so why did you go?" Uh idk, maybe because I pinged it 1000 times before going. You can't "not follow" me if I don't go in.

Had this exact scenario the other day on Rumble. Laid out a beautiful 5 man Equalizer only to see that nobody followed me in then somehow I'm the moron.

Yep. If I ping a lot and you ping me back, or ping you're going somewhere else or something like that, it's my fault for going in when I know you're not gonna follow. But before you communicate, I will give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you are going to be a team player and trust my engage.

I agree, also if you see someone pinging that they are going to come in then please WAIT until they are in position to help you. Too many times have I come in to gank and my teammate goes in when I'm too far away to help and then they die and get angry at me.

That's a fine line. They might have been trying to cooperate but just messed up.

I think this is annoying, but I think reporting is for people who are toxic, malicious, or trolls. Not for something mildly annoying.

I find teammates who refuse to cooperate more annoying than any of those. Aside from obviously reporting them:

I know I can't depend on trolls, so they're not going to bait me into a bad situation. I can still enjoy myself and play well as if I were playing a 4v5.
People who are verbally abusive I can mute, and as long as they're still playing cooperatively I can play with them.
