TFT needs a mute button. Extreme toxicity in ranked matches

Well, now I see that there needs to be a mute option in TFT.

I have been playing some successful sets and have been climbing up in TFT and I've noticed that the once friendly chat is now horrible at these higher ranks. Everyone is negative now and the friendly banter I experienced in bronze and silver is now nonexistent.

In a match tonight I made the mistake of commenting that 4 people were trying to build gunslinger builds.

This guy then told me to "shut the f**k up" and berated me. Then he told me I was dogsh!t and deserved to be on the bottom (I was in 5th place at the time). Then he spent the rest of the game constantly abusing me -- I didn't even respond to him and he kept going. This was for around 30 minutes of nonstop abuse. Sheesh.

I took a screenshot of some of it because I couldn't believe this guy was going off on me so hard for saying 4 people were building gunslinger. I put in a ticket to Riot and we'll see.

So.. yeah... they really need to add a mute button to TFT.

I also put a ticket in and had a similar experience. I had a player pinging constantly and another player using racial slurs. One of the other players asked them to stop but then more players started pinging. I couldn't find a way to mute, so I asked if there was a way and they swore at me and harassed me. Made for a very unpleasant experience.

I feel like having mute/ping mute/emote mute for specific players as there is in the other game modes would make the game better.
