Different between Toxic & Harrassment

Riot games, I understand toxicity in League of Legends is a major issue that has been trending for years. Why? Because the chat-restriction system is unable to identify between Toxic players and Harrassment. Not saying that the two does indeed share a variety traits, such as they're both extremely offensive to other players in the game&will most likely result in Feed/Int/Hatred in the game. The game is rated M and obviously theres a handful of kids in the game. They do not have the strength to control their ability of tolerating hateful comments/blames from other players. Which will most likely to argue back and create conflicts within the team. Personally it would be much appreciated if more developers can focus on the chat restriction system and try to keep hateful, sarcastic&arrogant comments down a knotch(Or you could just give bigger punishments to harrassments) I've been in many ranked matches where people would curse each other's loved ones to go to hell and that was quite offensive and threw the game instantly. Please differentiate the cause&effects of being toxic & offensive harrassments and I think this would enhance Gameplay+Gaming environment.

This game is a mothercocking joke. Especially the banner systems. I got banned for asking for a leash and then inting the game down mid because my bot lane came late to leash.

Well? we would lose the game anyways after the bad leash so what was the point of drawing the game out. I did the polite thing for both teams to end it faster. But I got punished and not the ziggs adc who wants to look at pornhub during the first 1:30 of the game. He even verified in chat he was busy with that kind of thing and then he said he was going to int cuz he wanted to go back to it. Well? why come to a game if u are busy with that website no?

And to top it off, my team was spam pinging me and saying hate comments about me until after the post game ended and then they all try to add me as friend to say more racisit and homophobe comment to me.

People need to grow the hell up.

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm .... not quite understanding you. Both toxicity and harassment are punished already.

I'm sure I'm misunderstanding you. Will you kindly clarify please?

The game is rated T which covers for things in the game.

Online interactions are not rated by the esrb. Just to clear up a bit. ^^

I don't know about anyone else, but I was of the opinion that school was meant to help teach people to socialize with other people, properly. For me, I generally knew that insulting people = bad, and praising people = good, even by the age of 4~5. It's usually common sense.

The game is rated T for Teen, but if people by the age of 13 don't know how to communicate with other people, then it's not because they are probably mentally incapable of learning how to do so most of the time. It most likely that it may be for personal reasons.

For example, they may get bullied a lot at school, and bottle up that anger and frustration, so when it comes to League, the lid of that bottle comes off and all of the anger gets released out. And when anger is the reason for someone to lash out, common sense usually goes right out the window.

Or in my case, my mother drank alcohol. A lot. Thankfully she's reformed from that behavior herself by now, but during the time she did drink, it lead to a very bad family life (or one that was basically non-existent), and usually I couldn't keep it calm in League because of that. I never initially engaged with someone, nor did I insult anyone for doing bad at the game (as long as it wasn't intentional. And I knew the difference between the two), but if someone acted toxic to me first... oh boy. It was like throwing a lit match on a fire pit already doused leisurely with gasoline.

I would act toxic back most of the time even though the proper thing to do is to use the mute button at that point and just go on with your day. And the thing was, is that deep down inside, I knew better. But like I said, anger and frustration erases all common sense.
