Riot should offer players: The Ban Buffer

Let's say you are having a hard time and starting down the long road to tilt city, and perhaps you have told a few flamers how you feel about their whiny annoying comments and behavior. Or maybe you flew off the handle for a sour puss inter.

Well what if there was a way to mitigate your chances of getting Perma banned by one suspension, and that would be an all inclusive one time get out of being Perma Banned free card, only $39.99 one time purchase, no refunds, get your account back guarantee if its Banned once.

This is what we would call THE BAN BUFFER!

Sound good?

Absolutely not. Money should not ever play an impact in player behavior.

Sound good?

No.

The monetary gains from such a policy would be completely overshadowed by the loss in customers from the PR nightmare the idea is.

The idea that Riot would have an officially sanctioned way to ignore the rules for longer if you pay more money can't be called anything other than selling out ethics for money.

You have numerous buffers. It's called the other 3 fucking steps in the punishment ladder.

because I am sure you wouldn't quit

You're not me, so you can't speak for me.

it only helps people

Except it doesn't. Rules applying equally to all players is a bare minimum for people to respect the company enforcing the rules. It doesn't matter if you spent $0 or $1000, you're judged equally.

The only people who this benefits are those that Riot wants gone. That's what the perma-ban is for, to start encouraging the player to go elsewhere because their behavior is more detrimental than Riot is willing to tolerate for their business.

News flash buddy, I don't buy it.

If you really want the game to get better, then you would know I am all for making the game better, because I have made countless suggestions that would result in more players playing and having fun. These suggestions and ideas are not implemented as of yet, and this game suffers greatly.

I can assume you are just a snooty holier than thou person and don't actually give a crap about the game, you just want to suck up to Riot and the Forums Mods. If my assumption is wrong please feel free to correct me.

News flash, you've made it clear that the ethics of the situation doesn't concern you. I don't respect you so your opinion of me personally is worthless. The idea is shit, if you don't want people to point out why the idea is shit then don't post it.

No. Absolutely not. You want your buffer? It's called the 14 day suspension. This is just saying if you can afford you can get away with toxic behavior for a longer period of time.

People want to preserve their investment into the game but in the long run it doesn't have an impact on their ban status. That is vastly different than straight up paying to get out of a situation brought on by your own consistent poor behavior. There is a large difference between the two.

Why the fuck should you have to pay for something so incredibly dumb? Learn the rules and learn to keep your cool. Why is that so hard for some people? [zombie-brand-facepalm]

Yikes. Literally buy a get of jail free card? People would flip the fuck out. Bad idea for public relations. They would never do this.

Having the option to buy your way out of trouble is a bad idea because then what's the point of a punishment if there's no lasting penalty?
